Ah, apparently you cannot help but be rude.
If you want to impress us that you think a quote from the President is divisive, it would be a good start for you to get the quote right, don't you think?
I believe the people are rising up against those brutal regimes that have been long established....and as for any genocide in the places mentioned...you might want to look FIRST to the newly established regime in Iraq, driving out their Christian population...a population that was well established before the last regime was replaced by......us.
Done...have a look here:

There was SO MUCH, I had to put it in two posts...two LOOOOONG posts. I encourage Everyone to check them out for themselves. You can read my commentary, but nothing beats going back to the source of the lying.
Can I ask you a serious question and get an honest answer?
Why is it divisive for a minister to stand up in front of an audience in the name of Jesus Christ, but not divisive to mention uprisings that have the nation of Israel seriously concerned that their long time allies are going to end up joining their enemies in the same breath you mention a holiday that happens to be one of the holiest days of the Jewish year?
Would you also consider not divisive if Obama stood up during Ramadan and talked about the Catholic Church and its progress in overcoming its image of child abuse?
How about if he speaks up next February and talks about the historic role of white missionaries and how they brought civilization to Africa?
Is it possible that the reason you do not see this as divisive is that you are incapable of seeing Islam the way it is, and that you are trapped in a world where Islam is more peaceful than Buddhism, taught Gandhi about civil disobedience, and produces unicorns and rainbows?
