Only... it's underground. 10 km or so (maybe 5 miles).

Isin't it more sulfuric acid than water?... or maybe I'm mistaking that for another planet...

We've only used an average of 4 feet of the 4,000 miles to the Earth's core. What the Zero-Growth astrogeeks neglect also contains oceans worth of fresh-water aquifers. We're sitting on immense wealth as we are doped up by dark night.

There's really no planet around us that's suitable to colonize, Mars frequently comes up but it's really not viable. The closet planet that's considered habitable is Proxima Centauri b, but that's 4.24 light years away. Until man can build a Star Trek ship, maybe fishing on Mars is the furthest mankind will get.
And even then, will Proxima Centauri b be fully habitable.
