But what if someone launches missions and we don’t have it? I don’t see a problem adding it to our defense, we already have the technology, we already build them.

Rather than spend 2 trillion on such a system we should upgrade our existing missile defense system at a cost of about 160 billion that will stop ballistic missiles from Russia, China, and North Viet Nam.

Won't happen. Both Biden and Trump deported about 2 million and over 90% were returns at border. To deport 30 million, over 29 million would be immigration cases which have to go through immigration courts. Conservatively, that would take about 25 years.

Most of of the 30 million entered the US legally via various visas and simply failed to leave when their visa expired. The INS admits that the records of VISA and green card holders who left the country prior to 2018 are so bad that they believe there are millions who are no longer in the US and they don't know who they are. Even today many leave the US and INS doesn't know they left.

Assuming there are 30 million without legal documentation, deporting them in 4 years would be impossible:
INS only knows the location of those with active cases which is less than a million. The remainder may or may not be in the US, may or may not be alive. Today, the only effective way of finding these people is immigration raids of businesses known to hire illegal immigrants or thru arrest record.

• For those that are caught, they are entitled to an immigration hearing by law. Currently it takes about 1600 days to get a deportation hearing. At that hearing, the prosecution must prove the defendant is in the country illegally or entered illegally. That may sound easy but it isn't because not having documentation is not considered proof.
• If the judge rules against you, you can apply for judicial review.
• The defendant has the legal right to apply for a delay of deportation such as for Health reasons or care of a child born in the US.
• Deportation hearings are often cancelled because the person can enter the country legally such as being married to a US citizen, having a family member that will be a sponsor.
• Also, at anytime during the legal process, the person may request asylum or refugee status which will cancel the immigration hearing.
• If the defendant has not been a burden to the community and is arrest free, did not enter the country illegally and is deported, they can reapply for admission.

In short, the only way to deport large numbers of undocumented immigrants that are not picked up within 25 mile of the border is to make major changes in immigration law. These laws simple have so much protection for the accused that it can take months to years to clear a case.
