Been watching this on Hulu... early season 5 now.
Has been a pretty good series. But then...for whatever reason... now the show is completely ran by women.

In Viking culture women were in a subservient role. Period. End of discussion. It has been ok that the show had women participating in raids ect and mostly equal in their society... OK I get it...fine.
But now?
Just like that... the vikings are ran by a woman, and her primary army is mostly women...who of course beat the shit out of male armies with impunity. This. Never. Happened. Ever.
And then in England, the King is love lorn for his son's daughter who has a power over him and his son. Yeah. That never happened either. Ever. And in France, the King is gay, the protector of the realm is married to his daughter who slaps him around.
In other words in every side Women are either in charge, beating up the men, or in a power position over them. Another show ruined.
It;s like Gillette took over the script.

Perhaps you have the insecurity. And need a strong woman around to support and protect you.
Me...I have a brain. A brain that finds it difficult to suspend reality to the point where a 5'4" 120 lb. female easily beats down a 6'2" 220 lb. man built like a barrel. It's not believable. You understand that a story needs to told in a way that makes it easier to be believable for the moment. There is a reason, for instance, Darth Vader is dressed in black. If he was dressed in green polka dots you wouldn't be able to suspend reality.
