The qualification rules have not changed. They are having some difficulty dealing with a very unusual situation. They used to test all the time. Women that showed increased hormone levels were routinely disqualified. No matter where that elevated level came from.

Another "woman" who has been disqualified, Caster Semanya also has DSD but has been disqualified because his hormone levels exceed the allowable limits.
