I have to admit that Va. has it covered. I wondered how they would deal with a photo I.D. when you were wearing a mask but they have a slick device that scans your drivers license from behind a plexiglass screen. There was no restriction to wear a mask (I didn't) but the electoral staff all had masks. You get a pen and a paper ballot and a folder. You fill out the square of the candidate you like and put it in the folder and walk it over to the scanning machine that takes the ballot. The pen is discarded and so is the folder. Nobody touches anything and you walk out the back door. By the way my guy won.
