It seems the US has abandoned a world order that has been maintained by both parties post WWII. In the vote in the UN blaming Russia for the war in Ukraine, the US voted with Russia killing the resolution. So it seems we can now call our selves allies with these countries that voted against the resolution.
The 16 that voted against Monday’s resolution alongside the U.S. and Russia were Israel, Haiti, Hungary, Palau and the Marshall Islands; the African countries Burkina Faso, Burundi, the Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Niger and Sudan; and Belarus, North Korea, Syria, Eritrea, Mali and Nicaragua, six countries that voted against the 2023 resolution:.
Judging from our newly found alliances, it stands to reason that our NATO partnership may be next. Please give your opinion.
