Like all great nations and civilizations, it will come to an end.
Possibly sooner than later.
But think of all the things that are slowly destroying the nation.
A lot of intelligent people saw it coming, but I'm surprised it wasn't more obvious to people...
1- Money: The Federal Reserve Bank, the system in charge of the entire nation's monetary system, isn't even a Federal entity. It's a privately owned bank. So in other words, ordinary people like you and me are completely in charge of the entire nation of 300 million+ people and can do whatever they want... Obviously this is destined to lead to corruption, greed, and suffering.
2- Immigration: I can't even summarize my feelings for this at the moment, but clearly this is an enormous problem and has been for decades and is only getting worse.
3- Unemployment: Has a lot to do with immigration, too many illegal immigrants being allowed here, would/is causing all our domestic jobs to leave for overseas, causing huge unemployment and loss of corporations for our own people. But, not having any illegals in this country doing cheap labor, would have almost as negative of an effect as vice versa.
4- Media Monopolies: Technically not a monopoly, bu the mainstream media in general is clearly more liberal and has huge effects on people's opinions, much more than is necessary or beneficial in my opinion. Add the fact that the country is in a 2-way split year after year of simply either republican or democratic candidates, we're slaves in our very own democracy. It may be close to impossible to get done at this point, but a third and maybe even 4th and more party candidate needs to come into serious competition with the rest for our elections and government to ever be close to being a true democracy again.
5- Health: And I mean health in general. It's amazing that Americans usually have most of the best, if not all of the best athletes in the world year after year when you realize how we're the most obese, lazy and unhealthy country in the world by far. Like I said, in general, and not necessarily health care, out health in general is, and is going to be more of a problem down the road.
HM: Definitely still important, but not quite in the top 5, religion problems, social problems, energy problems, and education problems.
Curious to see your opinions on the matter, especially anyone from different countries/locations.
