The thing is we are not going back to when one salary can suffice. So people are adapting. What else can they do? I guess they can be like the couple next door. 9 days after giving birth the baby is in daycare full time. The dad is gone alit for work. Shes working full time plus studying for her degree.

My ex/late wife divorced me (a very competent non-asshole), went on to another failed marriage followed by several failed relationships, finally ending in alcoholism and death (I suspected suicide, but it was never proven).

And she was the least screwed up woman that I have known.

We dont need people running around with their hair on fire telling every young person what to do is all. But when i read posts about less people dating, etc it simply doesnt cause concern.
