Yeah, and passing out condoms at school didn't reduce the number of young people willing to entertain the idea of having sex at a younger age. Although that's not probably all the problem in a nutshell, and societal changes were probably influenced by everything from the explosion of the internet to a general degradation personal responsibility as a factor, and self-esteem replaced a harder stance of accountability for one's failures.

I have many older female friends. None of them tell me how great things were for them, or for their mothers. Women of the past hid problems, and men like you thought they were happy. Because they were children playing with toys, they did not see everything that went on. Children don't need two people in the home, and they'd be better off without a father in the home if he's an incompetent asshole. All the more reason not to have children to begin with, if anything.
