And???? You posted that link with no comment or context. Every country in the world has immigration laws, and every country in the world enforces them. What are you trying to say here? Since you haven't made comments, I'll go ahead and insert context.

Everybody wants immigration law enforced. All of the people removed from Canada received due process, and an opportunity to present their cases. These are people who's refugee claims were rejected. They received due process, and their claims were heard. Removal orders were issued. They weren't picked up off the streets by masked strangers and put on a plane with no notice and no warrants.

Canada’s border agency said the spike in deportations is tied to a “significant increase” in the number of people applying for asylum since 2020, prompting it “to enforce removal orders in a more efficient and timely manner.” . . . . . .

The remaining total shows Canada deported 7,300 people between January 1 and November 19, 2024, an 8.4 per cent increase over all of 2023 and a 95 per cent increase over 2022.

I bolded the second paragraph - 7,300 deported in total. Given our population differences, that's the equivalent of 73,000 deportations in the USA. Last year, the USA deported 685,000 people, more than nine times the number of deportations in Canada.

In the meantime, we had 58,000 refugee claims in Canada in 2024.
