Bond. James Bond.

Everyone has their favorite Bond. Mine is Sean Connery.

But when it comes to comedies, Roger Moore Bond is my go-to.

This film has a wisecrack a minute, and who can forget the Jaws character played by Richard Kiel? The best henchman of all time.

In this movie, Bond has a car that is also a submersible, and I am 80 percent certain it inspired Musk's Cybertruck.

Someone is making English and Soviet submarines disappear. Why, Bond, why? And how were they able to track those subs in the first place? Your mission, should you choose to accept it...

Oh wait...

Along with verbal humor, there are also visuals. Watch for Bond using his turn signal while being pursued underwater. And then there is the fish he tosses out the window on the beach.

The projection screen behind Roger Moore as he's skiing is hilariously obvious, but what the hell.

I still have the Playboy issue where Barbara Bach took her clothes off. June 1977.

LOVE Sir Roger Moore!!!
He is the BEST Bond by far.

They all have their own quirks, but Roger Moore is my most favorite!!!
A bit corny at times but he was the right balance between suave, charm, levity and successful. The East Germans ran "Romeo Spies", men heartlesly manipulating female West German targets if they had access to classifed intel . Moore would have been the British equivalent. Spying isn't a game for the faint of heart after all.

Sean Connery was the best, the original.

My Bond preference list is:
1. Daniel Craig.
2. Sean Connery.
3. Pierce Brosnan.
4. Timothy Dalton.
Roger Moore and George Lazenby tie for last place.
The Bond movies weren't meant to be comedies. Moore ruined the series at the time. That stupid southern sheriff bit in two movies should have ended up on the cutting room floor.
David Niven played Bond in a parody version of Casino Royale and as it was meant to be a parody of a Bond story, I had no problem with it.

I still have my OO7 briefcase that I got for Christmas when I was 5 years old... I keep it in a climate controlled room with my baseball cards and other things I want to protect...
