No..It's because they grow up in the hood. See it is THAT self loathing that certain black people have expressed which creates a perception of self defeatism.I can guarantee you that if a cow had nuts it would be a bull. The point is that whites have more of a chance of getting into a prestigious school by virtue of being white and having access than a Black person could. Black people growing up in the hood have too many strikes against them, most which stem from being Black.I can guarantee you though that if you went to a prestigious school and got a masters degree a fortune 500 company would give you an internship and if you prove yourself you would be on the executive fast track. doesn't matter what color you are. now for me? I couldn't have ever gotten into a prestigious school. the only reason I got into a state school was because I had a wrestling scholarship.I agree that you still have to go out there and get it. My going out and getting it requires me jumping through hoops you dont have to. I dont whine about it because it is what it is. I cant be stopped but thats the reality of the situation. You arent a VP because you didnt want to be one or you didnt work for it.You could never "lower" yourself to my level. I exist a couple of stratospheres above your level. I just think your declarations of social insignificance are amusing and betray the mind of a sheep that is highly motivated by what others think of you.Oh?....Here's my response.....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ..
As to responding to your racist snark, I take the high road......As many times as you've tried to goad myself and other posters into responding to your racial epithets, you'll never get a response.....I'm never going to lower myself to your level.![]()
White or black you still gotta go out there and get it. My brother is a VP. Is it cause he's white? Then why aren't I a VP?
so the truth is no matter what color you are if you're smart enough to get into a prestigious school and get a masters degree then you can be a guaranteed success. being black would not stop you.
Your truth is more like an opinion. I know plenty of people in the hood that are smarter than the people I have worked with in IT. No matter how you cut it success is about legacy or luck, habits, and never giving up.
Success is not 'about; giving up. Success is the result of never giving up.
