‘The second wave has begun’................nice work, Trumpleton's.

Covid-19 has really put this country on notice. Is our economy more important than our freedom and human lives? The answer will lie in the ramp up to a vaccine.

False dichotomy. The economy is crucial to freedom and to human life. Trash the economy, and people are prevented from producing, distributing, selling, buying, obtaining food and other essentials, needed for survival. There is no choice between life and economy. Trash the economy, and you're trashing human lives along with it.

Gawd but you\re stupid. That's a level of hive mind that the Borg would really appreciate.

The economy will ALWAYS exist, whether corporations continue to exist or not, because people will always exchange their talents, abilities and what they produce, for things that they cannot provide for themselves. The economy existed when people lived in caves.
Yeah, because prosperity has always existed in every country. No one has ever experience poverty or starvation.

Yes it has. Since the days of the cave man. Properity will always exist, because some people have skills which are more prized than others. Which skills will give you "prosperity" have varied throughout time. The best hunter could exchange a portion of his kill to the best seamstress in the cave, to give him the best shoes, and robes. He could trade for the best spears. He had the best skins for his bed. What defines "prosperity" differs according to time, culture, and what a society values.

Prosperity has existed in every country. What rarely exists is "equity". The USA doesn't has "properity", it has wealth for some, subsistence for nearly half of the population. Subsistence is NOT "prosperity".
Then why are people from around the globe trying to come here, Dummy?

People aren't trying to come here from around the globe. They're coming from Third World countries because they believe that the streets of America are paved with gold, and that the USA is still the land of opportunity is was before conserveratives and conservatism took over, and set about to preserve white government and while privilege come hell or high water.

40 years of Conservative economic policies have created the greatest transfer of wealth in the history of the world - all of it from the working and middle class workers of the USA, to the top 10% of the wealthiest individuals and corporations in the nation.

Amazon - the most profitable company in America paid $0 in federal incomee taxes last year. Jeff Bezos is about to become the world's first "trillionaire", thanks to the corona virus. Walmart, Target, and Amazon were declared "essential businesses" during the shut down and stayed open, but mom and pop groceries stores, and businesses, were forced to close.

Three economic crashes in 40 years under Republican fiscal policies. Freemarket banking and market reforms have created higher volatility, in the market, and each round of massive tax cuts has resulted in an economic crash which has most impacted low wage and minority workers the hardest. The government keeps bailing out the corporations and the wealthy - too big to fail, and leaving working Americans to fend for themselves. With every economic crash, the rich have gotten richer, and more and more of the wealth in the nation is concentrated at the top.

THAT is the failure of conservatism in America. 40 years of Republican fiscal policies have left Americans sick, broke and angry.

And the only response Donald Trump has to the death, disease and destruction, is a police state crackdown on the protests, and brutal oppression of the anger.
People aren’t trying to come here from around the globe.

I know, cuz you live in shithole Canada. They are coming to America from around the globe.

Another Cult45 'expert' opens his yap and vomits partisan nonsense. Thanks for nada.
Your comment does not prove this so called "second wave". It only confirms the idiocy of it all.

Are you a virologist?
Are you? Aside from a claim by a single professor from Vanderbilt (Schaffner) no one of any repute or scientific stature is claiming a "second wave". The whole idea is idiotic.

It's so stupid and unsubstantiated you seem to love it.

Wrong. Throughout world history, abject poverty has been the norm. Until about 20 years ago, the per capital income for most of the people in Chine as less than $2/day. The same goes for India. No one who lived in these countries at the time thought they were prosperous.

Claims like that are why you aren't worth debating. You're an idiot.

The Raja's and Rani's weren't prosperous? The kings and Queens of Europe weren't prosperous. The Roman Senators?

Prosperity isn't based on the amount of your monetary income, it's based on your standard of living. A teacher in Brazil makes $800 per month U.S. That's a middle class income in SanPaolo. He owns a house, a car, and he has a nice life. People on welfare get $800 per month here, and they sure don't live as well as my Brazilian friend.

It's not how much earn that is the issue, it's kind of life your income provides.
I mean the whole population, dingbat, not the top 0.0001%.

Someone who makes $800/month in Brasil is not comparable to someone in middle class America. A car in Brasil costs just as much as a car in the USA. So does a flat screen TV, a cell phone and a color TV.

No it does not. These things have different prices all over the world. Based on their standard of living, and their taxation system. Best Buy sells a 75" LG LED TV for $749.99 in the USA, and $1099. Canadian. On top of which, Canadians will pay an addition federal and provincial 13% sales tax. On the other hand, Americans pay on average $900 per month for health insurance, and our basic health insurance is covered in our taxes, and Canadians don't.

The structure of your tax code tells you who your government is really taking care of. And it ain't you FingerBoi.

It's all in how these costs are structured.

Good for you. What does that prove? That you don't mind lying to win an internet spat or your wife
thinks there is a "second wave" we are entering? Ask her to contact CNN.
Try sucking Fauci's dick.

The difference in price is due to the difference in the exchange rate. When Samsung sells a TV in Canada, it expects to get the same amount in equivalent Korean currency as it gets when it sells one in the USA or Brazil. $1000 CAD = $737.60 USD. That accounts for the difference almost exactly.

As always, you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

ANTIFA exists only in the imaginations of wackos and the peaceful protests have outnumbered the riots by a large margin, snowflake and most of them are wearing masks. will they be wearing masks at the next trump klan rally?

Antifa is just one of many Front groups on the left, all with interlocking directorates and funded by Soros.

BLM, the Black Panthers, Weather Underground, Coffee Party,Occupy Wall Street, SEIU, it has gone by many names over the years. Antifa is just the latest name to the same old song and/or dance.

You left out SDS which by the way one of Trump's closest advisers in the WH was a member in 1969.

Anyone who advocates for tolerating illegal immigration at all just needs to shut the fuck up on this issue. If you cared, at all, about the economic plight of poor black Americans you would INSIST that we control illegal immigration, because NO group sees their wages depressed more due to illegal immigration than poor blacks. PERIOD.

Not to mention obvious things like how much money we're spending educating illegal alien children that could instead be used to improve inner city schools.

Democrats want to keep blacks poor dumb and scared though.

The only way to control illegal immigration is to arrest and imprison those who hire illegals. People won't come to the USA if they can't find work. ICE pulled over 700 illegal immigrants out of chicken processing plants owned by two companies: Tyson Foods, and Koch Industries. Both large Republican donors. Neither company was charged with hiring illegals.

Lock a few of these corporate CEO's up, and the rest will stop hiring illegals. If they can't get work, they stop coming. Over 300,000 illegals self-deported after the 2008 crash. The same thing is happening now, with the covid crash. The USA will have an illegal immigration problem as long as illegals can easily find work in the USA.

Republicans don't do that because Big Republican Corporations, including Donald Trump, all want cheap labour. Plus they get to use illegals to gin up the outrage with the base, and it helps supress wages. A big win all the way around for Republicans.

You are OF COURSE 100% correct on that.

Except that you place all the blame on one party and pretend like the Democrats don't also ignore illegal immigration while KNOWING it hurts poor black people.

You see DragonLady this is exactly what I was talking about, you couldn't even take the opportunity to yes go ahead and take your shot at Republicans, it's well deserved, but also say "yes you're right about Democrats, they should care more about poor black Americans than they do about illegal immigrants" you just couldn't do it.

. BTW it was Kudlow he was in the Rochester chapter of SDS. People sure do change.
The SDS was a far left anarchist group of mostly college students opposed to the Vietnam war

if kudlow has gotten smarter since then good for him

"1:04 p.m. ET — Texas Covid-19 hospitalizations are up roughly 66% since Memorial Day as the state continues to reopen.

There are now 2,518 patients hospitalized with a coronavirus infection across the state’s hospitals, according to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services. At least 10 states in total are showing a rise in hospitalizations, according to a CNBC analysis of data from the COVID Tracking Project.

In recent weeks, some state and federal leaders have downplayed a recent rise in cases and hospitalizations across the U.S., tying it to an increased in testing. Infectious disease specialists note that the U.S. and other parts of the world will likely continue to see a rise in cases until there is a proven drug or effective vaccine. —Berkeley Lovelace Jr."

Do you understand now, why black people are the most effected?

And they are supposedly heroes... but to hell with it if anyone protests for American rights...
Silly you. Don't you know that if the cause is democrat the virus is ineffective? Political opinions confer immunity.

A second wave of coronavirus has started in the U.S. — and people need to remain careful or risk stressing out the health-care system again, said William Schaffner, a professor at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

“The second wave has begun,” said the professor of medicine told CNBC’s “Street Signs Asia” on Monday. “We’re opening up across the country, but many, many people are not social distancing, many are not wearing their masks.”

Even so, he said he “cannot imagine” a second shutdown due to the impact of the first one.

Thanks to right wing nutbags exercising their "freedom" (to get the virus) because they rejected the "tyranny" of being socially responsible so a second wave didn't happen. You must be thrilled that you've set the country back. Hopefully, these worthless pieces of shit parading outside the halls of government with their automatic weapons don't decide speed limits are tyranny too.
Keep hiding under your pillow in your closet. We’ll let you know when it’s safe to come out.

BTW - how many protests and riots have you attended?
