I don't think that the Biden Administration, or the flaccid, mediocre Biden were anything like it or he are being portrayed. And many of the things for which he is being blamed are simply examples of the stupid PC/Identity Politics crap the Dems had been doing for years.

One of the characteristics I constantly see from both ends of the spectrum is that they don't seem to put much (if any) thought into the possible downsides and consequences of their methods. So the goal may be perfectly righteous, reasonable and defensible. But if your methods in reaching your goal are counter-productive, you could make things worse.

Example? It seems to me that the Left made zero effort to examine the potential downsides to being so aggressive with Political Correctness and Identity Politics. The result? The pushback with Trump. I'm seeing the same thing here. Trump's supporters and enablers look only at the individual act, and not a larger picture, the big picture effects, or an examination of how their methods could backfire on them.

If we don't win, the lefties will destroy us and everything we care about.

They have made that clear.

When your enemy is determined to see you destroyed, and is already playing total hardball for blood, playing by "norms" is just being a fool.

SS will always go bankrupt as its based on the ponzi model. We pay 14% of our wages and get back less than 1% if we apply time use of money. The best solution is to let people get out and plan their own retirement. Just end it now and pay off those receiving it from the general fund and mandate a minimum to be invested for each person. Everyone gets big raise so its costs nothing.

Let's all be honest. The boomer generation has sold the rest of us out. Even if you are a boomer, it's not your fault personally but admit it. If you are living off a pension and you're a Republican, **** you. If you had a good job because of a union and you're a Republican boomer, it's because you got yours and don't care about future generations.

I am Gen X. I admit it's a shame it only cost me $5000 a year back then but kids today have to pay so much.

We complained about rising income inequality to Bush, he gave tax breaks to the rich. Gap widened. Only thing Obama could do with Republican sabotures was Obamacare. Look how many poor people he helped. And many of them voted for Trump. Now their subsidies are going bye bye. We are all paying more for healthcare this year.
