Yes they do, from the south. We have a higher percentage of LEGAL immigrants on welfare than native born Americans themselves. As for the illegals, their children are on our social programs which the adults benefit from as well, but technically, the illegal adults are not allowed on our welfare programs.

As for the others, they came here to become something they couldn't in their native country. Take my beverage store owner for instance. He came here from India with a few bucks in his pocket. He busted his ass, learned the language, and when he saved up enough money, bought his own store. After making that a success, he became a landlord on the side. About five years ago, he bought a hotel by the truck stops at two intersecting major highways. His wife had to quit working at the beverage store to run that.

In spite of their success, they are still busting their ass. His wife stopped by for a visit at the store last week, and by chance, I happen to be going there. She said it's non-stop work from the time she gets up until the time she leaves. Like many employers, she's having a hell of a time finding and keeping workers. So her husband very frequently leaves the store for his workers to run to help her.

I am not a member of The NRA. Though I may or may not own firearms, I have no intention of ever joining The NRA. Furthermore, I'm not particularly fond of Wayne LaPierre, though I can't really put a finger on why...

I fully support the 2nd Amendment...

All that being said, I have to think that, given all that is wrong within the City of San Francisco, the Board of Supervisors must have better things to do than pass idiotic, misinformed, and toothless resolutions that are full of blatant lies...

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed a resolution on Tuesday declaring that the National Rifle Association is a domestic terrorist organization. The officials also urged other cities, states and the federal government to follow suit.


District 2 Supervisor Catherine Stefani wrote the resolution and shared her thoughts on the NRA with KTVU. "The NRA has it coming to them," she said. "And I will do everything I possibly can to call them out on what they are, which is a domestic terrorist organization..."

I understand the liberals point on this. The NRA publicizes their voting records on gun rights to their members, who then deny the liberals their votes.

The problem in the black community is self-inflicted. Many don't even have a high school degree, yet had the same opportunity to learn as anybody else. They also have an extremely high percentage of single-parent homes which is directly related to poverty. Nobody has to get involved with crime today. That's optional.

So no matter who you are, if you stay in school, get a job, don't create expenditures you can't support, and stay out of trouble, you will do just as well as any American in society today.

They played all day and night every day and night weather providing. So where were the parent(s) of these kids concerned about them getting ready for school the next day; making sure their homework was done; perhaps concerned about their safety? Nowhere to be found.

Several times I had to call the cops to get them the hell out of here so I could get to sleep. But like many black kids from single parent homes where the mother doesn't give a crap, they probably grew up and dropped out of school, they perhaps pursued criminal activity, maybe even got hooked on drugs.

But that's the white man's fault, isn't it? And now we have these HUD people here, who stay up all night. They make noise and wake us up or stop us from getting sleep. What do you think goes on inside the house with the five kids on welfare they have? Think they are productive in school the next day?

It means the father isn't there to discipline the kids, particularly male kids. Trust me, I listen to my police scanner all the time. Most of the calls are for kids. Nobody is taking care of them. Nobody is making sure they get their school work done. Nobody cares if they are out all night. How do you expect them to end up if they make it to adulthood?

It got so bad here after blacks moved in that we created a law that more than three police visits to a home in a year, the city starts charging for additional calls that's assessed to your property taxes. Our police cannot be surrogate fathers for these black boys. Once they hit 11 or 12, the mother no longer has control over them, and they end up doing what they want.

It's not discrimination, schools, or legacy discrimination. It's the black family that's the problem, and only they can address that problem.

And if a crime is reported in my area, I look out the window to see if I can spot something that may help our men in blue.

I also believe I will be installing cameras on my home in the near future. You see, some of us citizens like to get involved to help our community be a safer place.
