The Red Guard comes to Minnesota
This is the mentality of the Cheka, the Red Guards, and the Khmer Rouge.
It seems that Minneapolis lefties have started patrolling the streets for drivers who happen to be behind the wheel of the same make of SUV as used by ICE and interrogating – not to say threatening – them. This video shows a gaggle of people’s tribunes who have brought an SUV to a stop (the video doesn’t show how) and forced the driver out to explain himself. They surround him, demand that he open the hatch to show them what he has inside, and then commence interrogating him. All that’s lacking are the Mao jackets and the caps with red stars.
First, the pretense that they’re intercepting evil ICE agents is utterly bogus. Quite apart from the fact that any competent ICE operative would scatter them in about five seconds, this guy -- middle-aged, overweight, shirt hanging out -- is obviously nothing of the sort and was obviously nothing of the sort while still behind the wheel. No; his crime was simply that he caught their notice while driving by, giving them an opportunity to cosplay their inner KGB agent.
Take a look at the blowsy ginger to the right. “I’m not here to help you,” she tells the driver. “The fact that you’re driving a vehicle like this … You can’t. You go rent something else.” Clearly, she’s reveling in it, truly enjoying the opportunity to debase and humiliate a member of the bourgeoisie.

This is the mentality of the Cheka, the Red Guards, the Khmer Rouge – of every last attempt to introduce socialism by force -- out in the open and plain to see. One of the worst things about socialism is the way it empowers, encourages, and unleashes the foulest members of the human community. It can’t be crushed soon enough.
Commentary:
In most of the South, carrying a gun is fairly common. It tends to make the wannabe dictators a little more polite, or curb their inner urges completely.
Guns are more effective in deterring crime than committing it. Many of us have had occasion for its use or know someone who has. Crime statistics don’t reflect that side of the story.
Vigilantism could not be occurring on a repetitive basis without the connivance of legitimate authority. Any competent local law enforcement would bring this to a halt post haste … unless it was being instructed to turn a blind eye to it, as Jacob Fray is doing in Minneapolis. These acts need to receive the same notoriety and more as ICE is getting. Unfortunately, the large Somali presence is, at present, the deciding vote in Minnesota and it appears they are no more than a mob of pirates and gangsters who see this as enabling their illicit activity.
That any person of sound mind would willingly submit to socialist Marxist tyranny is about the most anti-American thing I can imagine. Rather than call for a more powerful central government, Americans should be working to return it to the bounds the founders established when they wrote the Constitution. The violent, immature thugs imitating Red Guards need a history class, and a good, long look in a mirror, or face the wrath of those they seek to subdue.
They need to be taught a lesson, but this is MN where criminals and anarchists rule and are backed by an insurrectionist governor. If the DSA Marxist Left carry on without anyone to stop them, their excesses will get worse.
How long until these Red Guard wannabe's require their version of a yellow star patch for anyone they deem disobedient?
