The reason media is calling out Musk about his CR Bill tweets, they dont want him to expose details

I think you understand fully what that means.
It is easy to understand, yes. It is the ultimate semi-adult's version of the 5-year-old's retort, "Nuh-uh, is not!!!".

Are you insane? Of course they believe the lies on social media. Trump does. That’s why he says crazy shit about Haitians stealing cats and other nonsense. People don’t listen to traditional media anymore and when they do, they rarely very their sources.

Trump engages in magical thinking. His supporters like that magical thinking. It’s not reality. It’s self-delusions.
1. I'm not insane but I do know math. Only 18% of voters get their news from social media, most get news from TV.

2. Yes most people still listen to traditional media.

3. You type nonsense. Trump cobbled together the winning strategy in spite of the MSM's biased coverage of the election, not to mention the LAWFARE, assassination attempts, and oligarchs $billion cash donation to Kamala. That is not "magical thinking", that is reality. You are self-deluded if you don't see the truth.

If social media isn’t important, how is Elon Musk able to whip up so much outrage over misinformation about the bill?

I guess that small minority of social media crazies is having a dramatically outsized effect, causing elected officials to be misled about what the public actually wants.

Elected officials don't know or care what the public wants. They fear anything to with TRUMP! because they tried to destroy him and now he's back in town packing heat. Musk is aligned with TRUMP!, therefore they fear him too and quake in their boots lest he look sideways at them.

1. It wasn't social media that whipped up opposition to the bi-partisan Bill. Elon was just the first to oppose it, Trump opposed it, many House members opposed it and told Mike Johnson they would not vote for it. Your assumption that Elon's misinformation was the deciding factor, is just not true.

2. What the public wants? The public wants government to spend less. The public supported the 116 page Bill, not the 1500 page Bill. Your post says that the tail wagged the dog, i.e. social media crazies had a "dramatically outsized effect", not true. Republicans are getting serious about cutting spending and getting back to "regular order", which democrats oppose, democrats prefer CRs.

Elon started it all by tweeting about it.

It had been negotiated in Congress on a bipartisan basis and would have passed if Musk hadn’t started whipping up outrage.

This wasn’t about “regular order”. It was about cuts. It was about online misinformation campaign where it became apparent that Elon Musk has to approve bills before they pass.

It's that simple really. If his 200M followers start sifting through these Bills on every occasion and start sharing specifics online, it destroys medias influence. This influence is purchased through ads by wealthy benefactors so it hurts their already dying business model even further. In effect, social media delivers directly to the people on a two way street, the MSM is a one direction form of information. You absorb what you are told, you don't debate and expose which weakens politicians power when they hear from their constituents. Media is paid handsomely for their services, now usurped.
Musk tweeted Congress gave themselves a 40% pay raise in the CR.

He's a liar.

If you choose to bleev a known liar, that's on you.

1. Elon tweeted about it first. Agreed.
2. It had been negotiated in Congress on a bi-partisan basis. True
3. The 38 Republican deficit hawks would NEVER have voted for it, with or without Musk. But Mike Johnson pulled it because he knew Trump didn't want it passed. Trump killed it NOT Musk. If Trump said pass it, it would have passed.
4. You are giving Musk way too much influence. Trump is president not Musk.

Trump didn’t say anything until Musk whipped people up, which forced Trump to come out against it because he has to keep up appearances with the internet rabble.

If it hadn’t been for Musk, Trump wouldn’t have cared and it wouldn’t have been pulled.

It would have passed just fine with Dem support.

None of this changed the fact that it was internet outrage based on misinformation or often times NO information.

He lost his son due to the deceipt of the medical establishment in California I believe. Then the efforts to destroy his company through over regulation and censorship. In Canada we have the contrary problem, wives beating men on behalf of police agencies, sometimes for years. Nothing a tariff or lost investment can't solve I suppose.
You got beat up by your wife?

You can believe that the tail wagged the dog, but I know that Trump killed the 1500 page monstrosity.
Congress isn't moved by the internet, they are moved by Trump threats to primary them & Elon's cash.

No. Did you go to the cops?
It's a long story. Let's just say that many of the police apparatuses in this country are not allies to civil liberties or real justice.

In fact, my wife told me her cousin, a Police Foundations grad; was "working with her" and she told me "if you (I) don't like it (the assaults), then leave". This was her effort to try and steal my home from me AND my dog at the time.

Don't move to Canada, you can't take your Constitution, Bill of Rights or system of accountability with you. We are the creepiest nation in the Western hemisphere, especially in Ontario.

I'm a pretty relaxed guy, very low blood pressure. I didn't have many options but to take it and that's the truth.

Trump is moved by the internet. He’s also beholden to Elon. They’re both chronically online and addicted to social media.

Is there any indication Trump opposed the legislation before Musk whipped up the internet crazies?

I'm saying that Trump pays no mind to internet crazies, nor did he say "pass the Bill" before Elon's tweet.
Elon sounded the alarm about the 1500 page monstrosity, Trump agreed.
The final 116 page Bill passed easily.
You keep thinking that the 1500 page Bill would have passed but for Elon's tweet. I disagree.

Trump pays a lot of attention to internet crazies. Hell, he IS an internet crazy. That’s why he says crazy shit like Haitians stealing and eating cats. Because he’s addicted to social media.

Yes, the bill would have passed easily if it hadn’t been for Musk and we would have been better off because these morons stripped out helpful provisions because it was too many pages, which is the stupidest reason I could possibly think of.
