If your mask protects you (why else would you wear it) then why do I need one to protect you? I don't have covid or any symptoms of it, so how would a mask protect anyone from me? and yeah, I get it, you are about to say, "you don't know if you have it" Well the CDC has said that asymptomatic people cannot transmit the virus. CDC has also recently corrected itself and said that only a small percentage of people who were included in the victim count actually died from covid, dying WITH covid is not the same as dying FROM covid.
this whole fiasco was designed by China and the NWO assholes to see how easily americans could be turned into obedient sheep. It worked on you, which is no surprise.

bullshit, someone with diabetes, heart disease, cancer, TB, emphysema, etc is susceptible to dying from those diseases or the common cold. Thousands die from flu every year, if your body is weakened you are probably going to die. there is a big difference between dying WITH covid and dying FROM covid. Half of the deaths in NY were nursing home patients. Can you tell us how many of them would have died anyway if the Chinese had not sent covid? of course you can't, but its certainly not zero.

To put it more dramatically, during the last month New York reported 2,466,520 new tests, but less than 1% of them were positive for the Covid; and we also know from the New York Times exposé last week that the overwhelming share of even this diminutive “positive” fraction represented PCR cycle runs above 30, which means they were carrying viral loads so small as to cause neither sickness nor contagion, or even hurt a flea for that matter.
That much is evident from the comparative hospitalization and mortality data. Back in April there were an average of 2,000 new hospitalizations per day, representing 26% of the new cases, while during the last thirty days there has been no net increase in hospitalizations at all, and the daily average census of Covid patients is down by more than 90%.
Even more importantly, the daily mortality rate has plunged by 98.9%. That’s right, there were 560 deaths per day in April, but only 6 per day during the last 30-day period.

Oh Jake...please. The CDC isn’t right. Their one job for their entire existence, was to prepare the nation for a pandemic and they failed miserably. Time to defund the CDC, which essentially has become a division of Big Pharma.

why do you wear one? if not to protect yourself? If others wearing them protects you, why do you need one? If you go into a grocery store and everyone but you is wearing a mask, are you safe? We have a mask mandate here, except when you are eating or drinking, does covid stop moving when we are consuming food? This whole thing makes no sense.

For a new study published in JAMA Internal Medicine, researchers examined the viral load in the noses, throats, and lungs of asymptomatic patients who had tested positive for the novel coronavirus—and their findings could have important implications for containing the virus' spread.
The remaining 89 of the 110 asymptomatic patients did not develop symptoms over the course of a 20- to 26-day follow-up timeframe, according to the researchers. However, they found that the asymptomatic patients had as large of a viral load in their noses, throats, and lungs as patients who were infected with the coronavirus and developed symptoms of Covid-19.
Further, the researchers found that asymptomatic patients carried the virus nearly as long as symptomatic patients. Almost 34% of the asymptomatic patients tested negative for the novel coronavirus after 14 days, and that percentage grew to 75% after 21 days. In comparison, 29.6% of the symptomatic patients tested negative after 14 days, and just under 70% tested negative after 21 days.
And, no, the CDC has not revised it's numbers. There are still over 180,000 Americans dead from COVID.
