So in one case the motive might have been drugs, which is probably was not in my opinion. How about the many other cases where it does have to with the fact they are homosexuals. Your story kind of left that part out!
And therein lies the point - this individual was making a point of clarification and has been demonized for it - that is the PC-environment that suffocates the public discourse in our society.
It is quite legitimate to voice concerns over legislating race, religion, or sexual preference specific crime. To attempt to silence such concern by calling those willing to share that concern as bigots is both an offense, and quite dangerous when that silencing is being supported by members within our own government.
the guys sexuality should never have played into this,they purposely killed another human,and should be given the max. sentence,JUST BECAUSE OF THAT.....to say you are going to make a violent crime against someone...A WORSE CRIME..because of his sexual orientation or skin tone is illogical and foolish....if you rob somebody and then beat the hell out of them, that sentence for the crime, should be just as severe,as it would even if the beater was calling him fag, ****** or whatever....violent offenders of the laws should be dealt with severely ....not just those accused of the so called HATE-CRIME.....
no-one should be protected better than the next person,because of some preference.....justice is supposed to be blind....
