The question I'd like to put out for discussion is, has the response to the violations of law always been part.....

......of the plan or did the pushback catch the admin off guard?

A federal judge on Saturday ordered the Trump administration to cease use of an obscure wartime law to deport Venezuelans without a hearing, saying that any planes that had departed the United States with immigrants under the law needed to return.

As of early Sunday morning, it was unclear whether any such planes had departed or returned.

On Saturday, the administration published an executive order invoking the law, the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, to target Venezuelan gang members in the United States.

But shortly after the announcement, James E. Boasberg, a federal judge in Washington, D.C., said he would issue a temporary order blocking the government from deporting any immigrants under the law.

Put another way, when Russ Vought sat down to write the P 2025 playbook, the one trump knows nothing about ;), was it his desire to see virtually every part of its enactment challenged in court? Did Pam Bondi know what was coming when she incredulously answered a question during her confirmation testimony about how she would handle trump asking her to use the DoJ for illegal acts?

Does the board think the necessity of funneling multiple cases questioning the authority trump is asserting to his friendly SC was eagerly anticipated or an unexpected obstacle?

Is the rule of law being intentionally broken so it can be reshaped to match trump's desires or did they think the fictitious mandate Don has claimed would be enough to steamroll the Constitution?

BTW, Judge Boasberg was originally nominated to be a judge by Shrub.

Trump thinks he should be able to do whatever he wants with no one ever questioning him.

His "advisors" try and find some sort of justification for his actions but rarely are they actually applicable.

Trump has went his entire life not having to deal with "no".

I don't get where Leftist judges think its a good idea to bring Venezuelan Gang Bangers into the country. Do they think that these pieces of shit are going to be exempting their children from being molested?

The court says this country doesn't operate on guilty without your day in court.

Sadly it does too often but on occasion we see our values get upheld in the courts.

LoL!

You seriously don't know the answer? Is it rhetorical in that you do know the answer, and you just want to discuss it?

Of course Donald Trump anticipated that federal judges would move against him as soon as he moved to protect the country from the illegal alien invasion. The more the judges fight him, the more talking points his chosen predecessor and MAGA Republicans will have in the 2028 elections.

If his actions fail to improve the country,* or do not improve the country as much as Trumpers anticipate, he has a built in excuse by blaming activist judges. That will give MAGA Republicans several additional seats in the 2026 elections.

Not to mention, once these Federal judges start being removed, the left will no doubt take to the streets, justifying a hard crackdown by Trump. Imagine BLM and ANTIFA rioters being treated by Pam Bondi as J6 rioters were treated by Merrick Garland.

Your constant complaining about Project 2025 is obviously guided by your slavish dedication to Project Bedwet 205-33.

I have to say that you show more energy in fullfiling Project Bedwet than any of your fellow devotees.

These aren't American citizens at all. They are Illegal Aliens and undesirable on the basis of their membership in a Terror group.

Just like that Hamas Piece of Shit at Columbia.

Doesn't matter. In this country it is never "guilty with no evidence proven against you in court".

Well, it's not supposed to be. Sadly sometimes presidents seem to forget that.

I generally agree. But surely some of the sycophants he has surrounded himself with aren't as stupid as he is. I assume they must have known there would be legal challenges to P 2025. Did they want them is the question? Has the lawbreaking been intentional in order to get cases before his SC in order to legally expand the power of the prez beyond what it has been historically?

The Judge has no business whatsoever running the Executive Branch

Executive Order 9066.

I believe Trump really believed the court would back anything he did.

Understandable after them ruling the office was above the law.

Being that the judge was nominated by Dubya there no reason to think he's a liberal. He didn't rule based on who the people being sent out of the country are. He ruled based on whether there is justification to use the law the admin is using to send them out.

Wait

You think people crossing the border illegally get a trial by jury?

That sounds right to me. The end goal being to obtain unchecked power.

President George W. Bush was a huge supporter of Kamala and Sleepy Joe. A real Kamalamaniac.

Apparently, not when it comes to Trump. A 34 time convicted felon that pardoned violent cop beaters, that attacked the US Capitol. An adjudicated sexual offender that stole from childrens and veterans charities.

The guy illegally hawking Teslas on the lawn of the White House?

This is the guy you're referring to about obeying laws?

cool story bro

If you wade into a den of snakes you assume that you will be bitten, so I doubt very seriously that he was surprised. This whole "constitutional crisis" scenario is being plated out, in my opinion, to instigate a demand if not a tolerance for a planned constitutional convention, to be marketed as a "fix". What it will be is something entirely different, a complete reset of what few rights that are left and a merging into the global apparatus. A smart doctor will let your infected leg fester until you beg him to cut it off.

Interesting take. A constitutional convention may be just what is needed right now.
