No Leftist can ever give a cogent answer to this, because there is none.

We've screwed with Europe's "borders" by backboning NATO for decades. THere's the borders of EUROPE and then there's the borders of NATO. That's exactly HOW this war started. Because no one would promise Putin that Ukraine wouldn't be bristling with NATO troops and missiles in his lifetime. WHICH IRONICALLY, last week -- even Zelensky agrees with that.

I'm in favor of NATO in principle.. We have a ripe example of "Russian Aggression" now to remind us what it's for. But NATO "expansion" DOES LOOK a bit aggressive to the guy who believes that UKraine has ALWAYS been Russian.

This could have been avoided, but Putin is taking advantage of our slow, weak leadership to make the point that we dont need to add Ukraine to NATO to deter Russian aggression because NATO wont defend it now. A message to OTHER countries planning to ASK for NATO admission. IMO -- we should have stopped adding NATO territory long ago.

Our borders issues aren't just issues. They are part of a calculated evil plan to harm this country. Which will back-fire on the evil and stupid -- because by the 2nd or 3rd generation -- these largely unskilled "future Demo voters" WILL BE FOR a secure border and voting whatever choice is not CONCIOUSLY cheering on the demise of this country and moving the cartel corruption/crime/drugs into their country.
