This is terrible news for China, dont you think? Im assuming that you dont get any news about how hard this is hitting China, right? Your news sources keep you in a nice cozy little bubble.
In China, its utter devastation. Mass layoffs, their ports are full of containers that have been paused or cancelled, and product is being sold off at scrap prices. Their banks arent forgiving either. They are demanding that their loans are paid on time, otherwise they will sieze the business and its assets.
Apple is moving all production to India. Hell, MY employer is moving our counterweight production out of China, and now into both India and Vietnam. Weve been partners with a foundry in China for 30 years, but its all over now.
For the first time, i actually feel like China's rise to power may have just been stopped. I never thought this was even a remote possibility.... but you dont care about that. You just want to shit on Trump no matter what he does. Democrats in DC want to make it as hard as possible for Trump to have any achievements. If Trump does something good for the US, thats bad for democrats, so they wont allow the US to succeed without putting up a hard fight against it.
