I'm already seeing. And I saw during Trump 1.0.
And I was gobsmacked by how quickly the great deceiver was able to convert former critics who saw him for exactly what he is into submissive lickspittles.
And even more distressing was watching purported Christians thoroughly corrupted and led down the road to perdition by this purely evil man.
You have surrendered so many of your morals, you are now reduced to shrieking about trannies. That's your last bastion.
Adultery is no longer on the menu. Fraud is no longer on the menu. Bearing false witness is no longer on the menu. Thievery is no longer on the menu. Covetousness is no longer on the menu.
None of the Ten Commandments are on the menu. How did you get here?!?
It's all about cruelty and grabbing pussies now.
So, yeah. Having banished the Ten Commandments, you were aimed at trannies. How sad.
Are you familiar with Jesus's parable about the sheep and the goats in the New Testament? You might want to reread it the next time you side with Trump's cruel treatment of people fleeing terror and dictators and starvation. Ask yourself if you are a sheep or a goat.
Trump is destroying Christianity in America. Because of willfully blind people like you, the number of people no longer attending church has skyrocketed since Trump 1.0.
You know, there is a reason our Founders built a wall between church and state, and it wasn't so much to keep religion out of politics, it was to keep politics out of religion.
That wall has collapsed, and we are now at the point Europe was two centuries ago, which Alexis de Tocqueville described in the best political science book of all time in which he celebrated our exceptionalism,
Democracy in America.
Heed his warning:
The unbelievers of Europe attack the Christians as their political opponents rather than as their religious adversaries; they hate the Christian religion as the opinion of a party much more than as an error of belief; and they reject the clergy less because they are the representatives of the Deity than because they are the allies of government.
In Europe, Christianity has been intimately united to the powers of the earth. Those powers are now in decay, and it is, as it were, buried under their ruins. The living body of religion has been bound down to the dead corpse of superannuated polity; cut but the bonds that restrain it, and it will rise once more. I do not know what could restore the Christian church of Europe to the energy of its earlier days; that power belongs to God alone; but it may be for human policy to leave to faith the full exercise of the strength which it still retains.
