The Orville

I just watched a couple episodes of the Star Trek knockoff, the Orville. Not a bad show, but not great. Is it just me, or does that space ship look kinda like a toilet seat?

I'm aware of it, but won't watch it.

Earlier in life I would consider myself both a Trekkie and a Star Wars equivelant.

However, I'm clearly more in the Star Wars camp now.

Seems to be more action over there.

That said, I'm currently watching 'The 3 Body Problem' on Netflix.

Among other great Sci-Fi shows.

I think Sci-Fi is probably the best genre out there.

Star Wars turned to shit since Lucas sold it to Disney.

. . . I knew it would.

I used to be a rabid fan though.

Never subbed to streaming Disney.. Borrowed the first season of the Mandolorian on blu-ray. Not that impressed. I didn't see what the hype was about, TBH.

I may, or may not get around to looking into the second season. .. .

As long as they aren't dipping back into the well of what has been done before. That is just shit, IMO.

I honestly think there's so much going on in the genre, all sorts of new and interesting things.
