The Only Time That I Disagreed With Charlie Kirk

Yeah but having more kids than you can afford? Other than that I see what you're saying.
/----/ When did he ever say to have more kids than you can afford? I know upper-middle-class couples who didn't have kids or only had one when having more wouldn't be a burden on them.

Read my OP more carefully.

I agree with what Charlie said. Getting married and having children is a fundamental benefit to society.

Yeah but like I said in my OP, some people we just don't want to reproduce.

I think you're taking him too literally. Sounds to me like it was tongue in cheek. I think he just meant have lot of kids…

Btw, a lot of people are going to take it literally though and then the kids would have to suffer for it.

A little off topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread.

This is interesting....in a frightening sort of way.

That I can remember actually. Not everybody should have kids. Especially if they can't afford them.

I have had the same thought, but possibly for a different reason. I definitely agree w/ you that people should not even get married if they cannot afford children (unless they are beyond childbearing age). I do not believe in artificial or even natural family planning. I know that makes me very odd, but I say people should allow God (assuming they have a Godly marriage) to determine how many children they have.

In any case, if you plan to be on welfare with your children, you are being foolish. The state basically owns your children when you do that. That's probably a topic for another thread but trust me, I've heard some real horror stories of how the govt butts into welfare people's lives...

Another big reason I say that everyone should be VERY cautious about starting a family is that I truly believe we are in the End Times, that Jesus is returning soon and... well, starting a family may be a little difficult in those years, although I cannot say exactly how things are going to turn out when "the Arch Fiend" (the devil) makes an appearance...

which, maybe he already has. God knows.

assuming society is destined to last another 90 years. I don't think it will. I'm almost 99% certain of it.

Apparently I'm the only one on this site who found ^ that interesting? To me it sure seemed like an ominous thing to say. And since it came from someone who would know... that's what makes it a bit disturbing.

I don't know what she knows, or why she said that, but as a Christian I can tell you with absolute certainty that she's right.

According to my understanding of the Scriptures, by the time Christ returns, OUR population will be just a remnant -- a tithe of a tithe of the American population will survive what's coming. Two events: The Time of Jacob's Trouble, then after that, The Day of the Lord

Why doesn't your God limit sexual desire to the point where it can easily be ignored if He is so beneficial?

Of course, the “Arch Fiend" has made an appearance... Who is in power right now? ‘Nuff said.

I support what Charlie said as I believe that all who ever existed will eventually be in God's Kingdom.

Why do you ask presumptuous questions (?)--the presumption being (apparently) that just because YOU cannot or will not limit your lustful desires, it's God's fault and so, you won't be giving up said lust any time soon, as it is God's fault and not yours
