Time is short and publicity is everything. There has to be an exciting new candidate for the unconvinced middle to get to the polls. From a public relations standpoint, the Democrats could do well to draft Ms Gabbard. No matter what general impressions currently held, given the situation she could turn things over rapidly. Their candidate might even win.
