There is only one and only one law of economics:
The dominant military paradigm controls the disposition of all wealth and resources.
The U.S. government is that dominant military paradigm in the U.S. and throughout most of the world.
'Free market economics' is a utopian theory that can never exist. It is no more realistic than utopian communism. The U.S. government has created an economic system that somewhat emulates a free market system, but only to a limited extent.
The fact is that to have anything close to a free market, there needs to be a government to protect that economy from dictatorships and communists and other types of barbarians. For that government to exist, it must tax the economic system. Taxation itself means that it is not a free market system.
I have to laugh at people who hate paying taxes. They remind me of my dogs:
My dogs love milk bones. My dogs want milk bones. My dogs have know idea of what a milk bone is or where it comes from. All they know or care about is that they want one.
In the same way, anti-tax people love money, they want money. They do not seem to know what money is or where it comes from.
Money comes from the U.S. government. It is a U.S. government note recognizing the wealth of the bearer.
Anyone who is wealthy should embrace taxes - without those taxes there would be no U.S. government and without the U.S. government they would have no wealth.
So while they are truly like my dogs, not knowing or caring what the source or nature of what they desire is, at least it's clear that my dogs are a whole lot smarter than these anti-tax idiots:
My dogs have enough brains not to bite the hand that feeds them.
