The official USMB "Crime is down" thread

LOL Lefty's already nervous about this thread. Fact is you never saw brazen crimes like this until about 4 years ago.
Yeah right, you never did live when grannies would assault a UPS driver for Beennie Babies.

Why did they ever need them if crime was lower thirty years ago?
NYC was a cesspool in 1979 when they were founded.
You don't know NYC, apparently.

It took until Rudy Giuliani was elected in 1993 until the city started getting things under control.

Attacks 5 days in a row. Are we now at the point where lefty says "there's no evidence that crime is up."?

I had never heard of an allowance to steal up to $950 worth of merchandise until that appeared in California.

Oh wait a minute: it's not:

In March, New Yorkers saw a brief dip in subway crime that only lasted a month. The NYPD’s findings in April revealed that felony assaults on subways were actually up 9% from 2024 and a staggering 55% from 2019.

That's not really the point of this thread.
What is important here is to point out that the authorities are lying when they say "Crime is down" in any of these big blue cities. It is not down.

/----/ Crime is down --- or crime isn't being reported? If NY is a catch-and-release state, why would police risk their lives and waste their time arresting criminals? No arrests—no crime reports.

NYC subways are not safe and it's going to get worse if the Islamic fellow wins the election.

Random serial slashers seem to exist in NYC.
if only we had had some common sense serial slashing rules in place.

But, crime's down says the left
