Trump said, "It's wonderful. She's a good person." Trump may win the Nobel Peace Prize next year for his efforts to resolve conflicts around the world, including in Gaza.
U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize 2025, María Corina Machado, called him and said she accepted the award in honour of Trump, because he "really deserved it."
Trump claimed to have facilitated a series of international negotiations — "biggest peace deals ever made" — referencing conflicts between India and Pakistan, the Republic of Congo-Rwanda and the latest ceasefire in Israel's war on Palestine.
He said he had been helping Machado because "they need a lot of help in Venezuela." Trump added that he is happy because he saved "millions of lives."
