You do know why monkeys never developed complex language? It has been experimented with using monkeys taught sign language, and it is because they dont trust each other because they all know that it is so likely that the other monkey is lying that they dont bother with them if they cant see what the other lying monkey is talking about from where they are able to see.

The human species could not develop language and more complex speaking until we learned that lying is shameful and to be avoided. Then evolution took us out of the jungle and into civilization.
