The national media attention on Nancy Guthrie's abduction is getting ridiculous.

I agree. I think she died during the intial attack and the killer(s) hid the body somewhere. Cops just haven't found it yet.

Kidnapping for ransom is one of the dumbest things you can do, because it automatically gets the feds involved.

I agree...would be nice if she could be recovered alive but is it likely at this point?? I would just like to say, one doesn't have to grab an old old lady too hard to tear her skin.

Nancy Guthrie was bleeding profusely as evidenced by many blood droplets on the front porch. No kidnapper intentionally injures the person they are kidnapping especially a frail 84 year old woman. Either it wasn't a kidnapping or the kidnapper f--d up.

I was thinking it may have been a robbery gone bad. He may not have expected her to be home.

This is ridiculous. How many days now...they got dna off gloves that they just happened to find on the ground which seem to look like the gloves on the character in the video. I wonder how many gloves, and socks, are lying discarded or lost on the ground at any given time in America. thousands?

And now they say, they think she may have been taken into mexico...well if so then they can get her meds over the counter at any mexican drug store. Also... it would seem to me that the abductors, if indeed they are NOT FAMILY, would want to produce evidence that Nancy is alive. nothing. Wonder what this old lady was worth., insurance policies, and who are her beneficiaries. Might be a good idea to look into the financial situations of the children and their spouses...if they haven't already.

You can spend half an hour or more every hour where the commentators are talking about the simplest crap to spew their views. This is like a Night Gallery episode. The life of a person who is 84 years old is not the questioned. It is the endless broadcasting time committed to it. At some point this will turn negative for the poor elderly lady.
