The voluntary military is trained to follow, mostly not trained to examine and pass judgment on their leaders. It is what basic training is all about, conditioning troops to follow, instantly as ordered. They have even extended it since my day, to really get that blind following ingrained.
My granddaughter, is heading to Marine Basic, next month. All basic in the Army is Infantry Basic, just like all OCS is Infantry OCS. But, we now have learned, she will do 9 weeks of Basic, before she gets through to the Infantry Training Battalion course. Think of that. 9 weeks of the basic mind screw, to assure you are a good instant follower, before even beginning to teach soldier combat skills, weapons, tactics, etc. It is not surprising, they have an ingrained willingness to support the Commander=N-Chief, deservedly or not. It means nothing. And to be truthful, I don't want young soldiers thinking about that, either. But, 9 weeks? God, I'm glad I am old. It sucked back in the 70s, when I did 6 weeks of it in the Army, but at least there were many combat skills incorporated, even before graduating and heading to 11D Scout School, which was all combat skills, without the basic mind fk.

A proper investigation is at least 2 1/2 years aways. By that time Donny will be drooling and wetting himself regularly.

I scored high enough to do anything I wanted, so I went with something where I got to blow shit up. I knew Carter was president, but didn't care, as we had just gotten rid or the crooked, Nixon. Nixon (the crook) actually stopped the draft 3 weeks before I graduated high school, which meant I didn't have to go to Vietnam, though my lottery number was 43 and I was going to be 1A, upon graduation. I don't think kids thinking of joining one of the military branches pay any attention to who is president when signing up. You don't think about that stuff until later. I was in a tank in Germany, near the border, when Ronald Reagan was giving his "Godless Russians" speech. You can bet I was reevaluating having voted for him, that night.

You take an oath to protect and defend and follow the orders of the officers above you, when you raise your right hand. You are taught even in basic you are responsible to not follow illegal orders, from anyone, as you can be held responsible. But those orders will be from NCOs or Officers. You will not be getting orders from the President as a lower enlisted. So, why should you care, who is president?

I did not hear of the Democrats mentioning his name, thousands of times in the Epstein files. It was witnesses, victims and FBI investigators, mentioning his name.
