Killing the General is a totally different topic. No one will miss him for sure, but he wasn't assassinated because he posed an eminent threat to our country. He was assassinated as a distraction from the impeachment trial. Trump set that up by axing a deal that had been working. And it was more an accident than anything that he found a target for his distraction that just happened to be convenient at the time; Susan Rice: Trump's 'despicable lies' about Obama show his 'extreme weakness and insecurity' Trump didn't even know who Soleimani was back when Hugh Hewitt interviewed him. So, he really didn't know shit about the man. He was just there, and his military brass have now gotten themselves caught up in a cover up.

Yes, there is nothing to show it was done over the impeachment, but mentally speaking, we all know in our gut who and what Trump is. His weakness is his own man child ego, and he will not be humiliated by an impeachment.
