Yet it still ends up happening. I remember working as a contractor five years ago when they passed me up to hire a black woman who turned out to be utterly worthless. Like she couldn't remember how to do basic functions of her job. Eventually, they ended up giving most of her work back to the contractors she was supposedly going to replace.
Except white women would have no problem if AA or DEI went away and never came back. They would succeed on their own merits.

Donald Trumpās pledge to deport millions of illegal aliens has been dismissed as unrealistic, but to his core supporters, this position is not up for negotiation. The MAGA base has experienced and is reacting to the most dramatic demographic shift of modern times. In the mid-20th century, as the Baby Boomers were coming of age, America was still a country inhabited by people of predominantly European extractionāwhere most practiced some form of Christianity, and social cohesion, outside of troubled communities undergoing court-ordered racial integration, was high. Today, whites are approaching minority status in America for the first time, and they are marginalized in every conceivable way, culturally, socially, and politically.
Many harbor regrets about this unbidden transformation and what it portends for them and their descendants. The ceaseless haranguing of ungrateful anti-American newcomers and their political pressure groups does little to allay the anxiety of so-called ānativists,ā who share, despite differences of national origin, a common interest with besieged Europeans in stopping an influx of barbarous peoples, like the Pakistani men responsible for the horrific rape gangs in the formerly great Great Britain.

The suggestion that there is a concept of āDEI for whitesā is almost fantastical. The only countries that consistently fail to provide even modest preference for their indigenous inhabitants are in Western Europe and its former colonies.
This has certainly been the case in America, where the foreign-born population, after four years of Joe Bidenās open border, stands at an all-time high, anti-white policies have already made it illegal to recruit the ābest and brightestā who were born here, and mass immigration makes it unprofitable to do the same. Third World immigrants are reaping the benefits, encouraged to retain their ethnic attachments, and generally behave in as rude and brutish a manner as they wish towards their hosts.

The core Trump base does not care if their displacement comes with the governmentās explicit permission, or if it is through the governmentās failure to enforce the laws. The result will be the same, and it is distasteful either way.
History is on their side, as it happens. The Immigration Nationality Act of 1965 quietly opened our borders, by an act of Congress, to a flood that literally remade the face of the nation. Americans living then never truly consented to this process, which President Lyndon Johnson sold as a limited reform. But now that the change is complete, those on the losing end are told that America will cease to be America unless they accept millions more newcomers every year from the global south. Third World chauvinists would have us believe that America was never great before the civil rights era, when America began to embrace its true destiny as a multi-racial ānation of immigrants.ā

Notwithstanding the tensions within it, President Trumpās MAGA movement is filling a deep void. The desire for a political homeland is the most natural thing in the world, and it will not be repressed forever.

DEI is āDidnāt Earn Itā. To MAGA, the best people regardless of skin color should earn it. I donāt care what color you are, as long as you can do the best job.

The ābest peopleā to run large government agencies are sleazy hatchet men, Fox News presenters, and hedge fund guys who are there to protect their investments and get the tax laws they want passed.
Bag men, yes men, talking heads, Wall Street types.
And Musk, who is ther to defend his battery and electric car subsidies and build his Space X business.

1. DEI encourages hiring unqualified candidates of color. A common argument against DEI is that it discourages meritocracy. One of the most prominent and popular DEI myths is that DEI results in the hiring of unqualified, non-white candidates. DEI is by no means perfect and has its flaws but the goal of DEI was never to hire unqualified candidates into organizations.
DEI encourages hate against white people. A persistent myth about DEI is that it insights hate against white people. While it is true that DEI workshops may include conversations about white supremacy, white privilege, and the system of whiteness, knowledgeable DEI practitioners donāt center their dialogue around encouraging hate against white people; thatās counterproductive to the ultimate goal of DEI. Having productive conversations about systemic inequities and racism means that we must acknowledge the role that white people have played in the harm of non-white communities while also having nuanced conversations about internalized oppression, colorism, anti-blackness, and how many non-white people inflict harm intra-communally.
Some lawmakers who believe this DEI myth may think that whitewashing Americaās true history will somehow benefit the youth, when in actuality, failing to understand the root cause of society's inequities will allow these inequities to persist. Racial healing requires us to acknowledge the harm that different marginalized communities have and still currently face and implement systems and structures to rectify this harm. Critics of DEI can provide little to no evidence that the majority of DEI professionals actually encourage hate against white peopleāonly personal anecdotes without substantial proof that this is a common practice across the field.
DEI benefits only certain groups. A common misconception is that DEI only benefits certain groups of people. Affirmative action is an example of a popular DEI initiative and although the U.S. Supreme Court ended affirmative action in June of 2023, it is a great initiative to analyze because of widely-held beliefs about its beneficiaries. A 2011 report from the African American Policy Forum indicated that although many believe affirmative action only benefits Black people, the United States Labor Department provided evidence to show that white women were the primary beneficiaries of affirmative3 action programs.
