1. DEI encourages hiring unqualified candidates of color. A common argument against DEI is that it discourages meritocracy. One of the most prominent and popular DEI myths is that DEI results in the hiring of unqualified, non-white candidates. DEI is by no means perfect and has its flaws but the goal of DEI was never to hire unqualified candidates into organizations.
DEI encourages hate against white people. A persistent myth about DEI is that it insights hate against white people. While it is true that DEI workshops may include conversations about white supremacy, white privilege, and the system of whiteness, knowledgeable DEI practitioners donât center their dialogue around encouraging hate against white people; thatâs counterproductive to the ultimate goal of DEI. Having productive conversations about systemic inequities and racism means that we must acknowledge the role that white people have played in the harm of non-white communities while also having nuanced conversations about internalized oppression, colorism, anti-blackness, and how many non-white people inflict harm intra-communally.Some lawmakers who believe this DEI myth may think that whitewashing Americaâs true history will somehow benefit the youth, when in actuality, failing to understand the root cause of society's inequities will allow these inequities to persist. Racial healing requires us to acknowledge the harm that different marginalized communities have and still currently face and implement systems and structures to rectify this harm. Critics of DEI can provide little to no evidence that the majority of DEI professionals actually encourage hate against white peopleâonly personal anecdotes without substantial proof that this is a common practice across the field.
DEI benefits only certain groups. A common misconception is that DEI only benefits certain groups of people. Affirmative action is an example of a popular DEI initiative and although the U.S. Supreme Court ended affirmative action in June of 2023, it is a great initiative to analyze because of widely-held beliefs about its beneficiaries. A 2011 report from the African American Policy Forum indicated that although many believe affirmative action only benefits Black people, the United States Labor Department provided evidence to show that white women were the primary beneficiaries of affirmative action programs.

I once suggested that the best way for the black underclass to succeed is to look to a minority that has been persecuted, expelled, murdered, etc., all due to horrific bigotry, and STILL succeeded - and then follow their example.
A perfect example are Jews - who arrived here penniless and uneducated, and not even speaking the language! - and by the next generation their kids are all college graduates or successful business owners. How did they do it? By prioritizing education, intact families (no babies out of wedlock), and valuing sacrifice, delayed gratification, discipline, and hard work.

Another dumb ho. There were white Jews who owned slaves. After WW2 White Jews were helped by the government. None of the things you say are why white Jews got anywhere. Furthermore, White Jews discriminated against blacks. You are the one who refuses to take responsibility. Blacks built our own colleges that's how much we value education and Jews have babies out of wedlock. You know nothing about discipline, all you do is blurt racist bullshit day after day. Same thing with Asians. They don't need affirmative action, in some cases it works against them, because, left to their own devices, they outperform white people through sheer hard work and pluck.

Donald Trumpâs pledge to deport millions of illegal aliens has been dismissed as unrealistic, but to his core supporters, this position is not up for negotiation. The MAGA base has experienced and is reacting to the most dramatic demographic shift of modern times. In the mid-20th century, as the Baby Boomers were coming of age, America was still a country inhabited by people of predominantly European extractionâwhere most practiced some form of Christianity, and social cohesion, outside of troubled communities undergoing court-ordered racial integration, was high. Today, whites are approaching minority status in America for the first time, and they are marginalized in every conceivable way, culturally, socially, and politically.
Many harbor regrets about this unbidden transformation and what it portends for them and their descendants. The ceaseless haranguing of ungrateful anti-American newcomers and their political pressure groups does little to allay the anxiety of so-called ânativists,â who share, despite differences of national origin, a common interest with besieged Europeans in stopping an influx of barbarous peoples, like the Pakistani men responsible for the horrific rape gangs in the formerly great Great Britain.

The suggestion that there is a concept of âDEI for whitesâ is almost fantastical. The only countries that consistently fail to provide even modest preference for their indigenous inhabitants are in Western Europe and its former colonies.
This has certainly been the case in America, where the foreign-born population, after four years of Joe Bidenâs open border, stands at an all-time high, anti-white policies have already made it illegal to recruit the âbest and brightestâ who were born here, and mass immigration makes it unprofitable to do the same. Third World immigrants are reaping the benefits, encouraged to retain their ethnic attachments, and generally behave in as rude and brutish a manner as they wish towards their hosts.

The core Trump base does not care if their displacement comes with the governmentâs explicit permission, or if it is through the governmentâs failure to enforce the laws. The result will be the same, and it is distasteful either way.
History is on their side, as it happens. The Immigration Nationality Act of 1965 quietly opened our borders, by an act of Congress, to a flood that literally remade the face of the nation. Americans living then never truly consented to this process, which President Lyndon Johnson sold as a limited reform. But now that the change is complete, those on the losing end are told that America will cease to be America unless they accept millions more newcomers every year from the global south. Third World chauvinists would have us believe that America was never great before the civil rights era, when America began to embrace its true destiny as a multi-racial ânation of immigrants.â
The shaming of the West has worked so well, that even critics of mass immigration downplay its effects.

Notwithstanding the tensions within it, President Trumpâs MAGA movement is filling a deep void. The desire for a political homeland is the most natural thing in the world, and it will not be repressed forever.

DEI is âDidnât Earn Itâ. To MAGA, the best people regardless of skin color should earn it. I donât care what color you are, as long as you can do the best job.
