Look I think that Rolling Stone should have gotten the facts straight but let's not politicize rape. It's already a tough subject to talk about that shouldn't be downplayed that ALL accusations are fake.

They should be investigated fully but when it comes to these cases, forgetting the details is quite common which makes it difficult for prosecutors.

I don't get this thread. What is the myth? Rape? Is the OP advocating for a more accurate definition of rape? What should be included as rape and what shouldn't be? How many rapes need to happen annually for it to be considered a crisis? How many rapes need to happen annually before it is acceptable to be addressed within the public and political sphere? Many more women are sexually assaulted than raped; is sexual assault an issue?

The ground rules have apparently changed so hungover co-eds in can claim rape in place of simple regret for their actions. Sexual assault does not necessarily mean rape. One in five does not seem outrageous. Most women I know can point to incidents that can be identified as a sexual assault. It can include unwanted gropes, touching or forced intimacy that doesn't reach the threshold of rape
