The Liberal Rape Myth

Then what is your point?

Colleges are in a unique position to regulate the conduct of its students. Break the conduct code and you are out
Why would you object to protecting college women against rape and sexual assault?

As a Communist, do you support mandatory castration of all college age males who cannot prove themselves homosexual?
?

It's a simple question.

??

Communist? It must be very comforting for you to have a singular view of everything.

Yeah, I mean just because you want the state to control the means of production under the authoritarians rule of dictator in Washington, doesn't make you Communists.

Oh, wait...

What the left fears most is that sane people will openly name what it is they seek, and what they are.

Another liberal lie exposed and completely refuted...but some liberals chose to believe the lie anyway.

New DOJ Data On Sexual Assaults: College Students Are Actually Less Likely To Be Victimized

DECEMBER 11, 2014 By The Federalist Staff
A new report on sexual assault released today by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) officially puts to bed the bogus statistic that one in five women on college campuses are victims of sexual assault. In fact, non-students are 25 percent more likely to be victims of sexual assault than students, according to the data. And the real number of assault victims is several orders of magnitude lower than one-in-five.

The full study, which was published by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, a division within DOJ, found that rather than one in five female college students becoming victims of sexual assault, the actual rate is 6.1 per 1,000 students, or 0.61 percent (instead of 1-in-5, the real number is 0.03-in-5). For non-students, the rate of sexual assault is 7.6 per 1,000 people.

So, other women get assaulted also

Is that a reason not to try to protect women in college?

Can you show one post that is against protection of women?

Then what is your point?

Colleges are in a unique position to regulate the conduct of its students. Break the conduct code and you are out
Why would you object to protecting college women against rape and sexual assault?

The point is in your post I replied to. Libs claim that 1 in 5 women in college is raped and something has to be done about it. I haven't seen a post that question that there is a problem with rape, only numbers presented were questioned. Now that numbers are debunked, those who questioned are still at fault because "how we dare to question".

Read your own post, you said: "Is that a reason not to try to protect women in college?".
My answer: "Can you show one post that is against protection of women?"

I haven't found one, so your question is bullshit. Now is your turn to do what lefties usually do, race card, war on women, bigotry etc... wait for it... wait for it...

As has been posted repeatedly throughout this thread.....NOBODY but PC is claiming that 1 in 5 women is raped

Are you aware of the difference between rape and sexual assault?

PC opening post is based on liberal claims. Then check posts from Disombobulated with links on "data". If nobody claim that 1 in 5 is raped, why would DOJ release report yesterday that debunk that claim. For fun?

The amount of unreported rapes is, by definition, unknowable. People can create whatever sum fit their agenda. Those who want to make an issue of it are free to exaggerate.

The point exactly.....which the dimwitted liars failed to realize.
I am afraid many of the dimwits are the ones trying to convince others that campus rape is endemic. Reported cases are few, and obviously some of them are lies. The UVA case was an abject failure of ultra-liberal journalism and feminism itself.

Campus rape isn't actually an issue that concerns me very much. Sexual assault in general is a huge, extremely pervasive problem in our society. The author of the OP want's to say rape isn't a big problem, it's something that should just be ignored because of some petty political perceptions. That kind of thinking is both dishonest and ignorant.

1. Best be sitting down when you read this: Liberals Lie!!!!

4. Now, the "Liberal Rape Myth."

" c]

Date Rape' on Campus

Ah, now we see what is going on here. For generations now, girls, while consenting implicitly to sex, have wanted to assuage their guilt by being able to tell themselves afterward that they had not planned the action, and that they were merely “swept off their feet” by the charm of the guy and/or the magic of the moment. Hence, as all implicitly consenting parties have been long aware, the use of liquor is a marvelous catalyst of this feet-sweeping. Now, along comes our baneful feminist theoreticians who have been able to use their besotted theories to (a) free girls, once and for all, from guilt for their actions, and (b) to load that guilt onto the poor, hapless male population.

Poor hapless male population.......when I first read this I thought it was satirical, I thought you were mocking the OP. Turns out you were serious, you're a real dick after all.

Nobody has claimed that 1 in 5 college females are raped
Sexual assault has a much wider definitition than rape and often involves non-criminal activity (touching, fondling, kissing)

The DOJ report did not "debunk" anything and recognized the validity of the other reports

Once again...from your own link
Definitions of rape and sexual assault.
The NCVS,
NISVS, and CSA target different types of events. The NCVS

definition is shaped from a criminal justice perspective

and includes threatened, attempted, and completed
rape and sexual assault against males and females (see
Methodology
). The NISVS uses a broader definition of
sexual violence,
which specifically mentions incidents
in which the victim was unable to provide consent due
to drug or alcohol use; forced to penetrate another
person; or coerced to engage in sexual contact (including
nonphysical pressure to engage in sex) unwanted sexual
contact (including forcible kissing, fondling, or grabbing);
and noncontact unwanted sexual experiences that do not
involve physical contact.
4 The CSA definition of rape and
sexual assault includes unwanted sexual contact due to
force and due to incapacitation, but excludes unwanted
sexual contact due to verbal or emotional coercion.

What the left fears most is that sane people will openly name what it is they seek, and what they are.

I'm sure your fears of communism have a lot to do with sexual assault.

I don't get this thread. What is the myth? Rape? Is the OP advocating for a more accurate definition of rape? What should be included as rape and what shouldn't be? How many rapes need to happen annually for it to be considered a crisis? How many rapes need to happen annually before it is acceptable to be addressed within the public and political sphere? Many more women are sexually assaulted than raped; is sexual assault an issue?

The author of this thread is a rightwing cult member whose duty is to try to portray as evil anything associated with liberalism.

And that endeavor is, unfortunately, proving to be effortless.

Politicalchic, I disagree but am interested in having a discussion about this. You say that "rape crisis" is a myth; is there a specific number that rapes would have to get to for it to be considered a crisis? And if it reached that point, what would be the adequate response?

With all respect to your earnestness, you will not get a discussion out of PC.

Hey, offal....what do you call the thread to which you've unsuccessfully attempted to respond?

Your lies become more and more transparent.....consider b12 shots.

Your frustration is showing. Good. Enjoy it because you won't get me to sink to your level.
