The left mocked Glenn years ago about a caliphate .. Now it is happening

Beck has made a lot of predictions the Left is going out of its way to ignore.

How often has Beck been wrong? 98% of the time? I remember when he had "evidence" that Obama was covering up the Boston bombings that was going to take down the administration.

Actually not.

ISIS is no 'caliphate,' anyone who maintains otherwise is in fact deserving of ridicule.

You just keep telling them that. It doesn't matter you see what you ******* believe or I believe.

It's what they believe. And they're moving quickly. Passports to be issued very soon.

What ISIS actually demands remains the question; is it an Islamic state? Or is it WWIII?

For those that aren't up to speed here's an FYI before you go popping off that ISIS can't create a Caliphate.

You're freaking late to the party. It's a done deal. They are governing a very large territory whether you like it or not.

Life in capital of a Caliphate: In a Syrian city, ISIS puts its vision into practice

ISIS
Long before extremists rolled through Iraq and seized a large piece of territory, the group known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria took over most of Raqqa Province, home to about a million people, and established a headquarters in its capital.

Through strategic management and brute force, the group, which now calls itself simply the Islamic State, has begun imposing its vision of a state that blends its fundamentalist interpretation of Islam with the practicalities of governance.

In time, it has won the surprising respect of some war-weary citizens, like Qadri, who will accept any authority that can restore a semblance of normal life. Rebel-held areas of Aleppo, by comparison, remain racked with food shortages and crime.

But there is a darker side to Islamic rule, with public executions and strict social codes that have left many in this once-tolerant community deeply worried about the future.

In Raqqa city, traffic police officers keep intersections clear, crime is rare and tax collectors issue receipts. But statues like the landmark lions in Al Rasheed Park have been destroyed because they were considered blasphemous.

Public spaces like Al Amasy Square, where young men and women once hung out and flirted in the evenings, have been walled off with heavy metal fences topped with the black flags of ISIS. People accused of stealing have lost their hands in public amputations.

"What I see in Raqqa proves that the Islamic State has a clear vision to establish a state in the real meaning of the word," said a retired teacher in the city of Raqqa. "It is not a joke."

Glenn Beck's caliphate propaganda was just one one his ways of promoting an overall prejudice against Islam.

Americans have been systematically brainwashed into believing that the neverending turmoil in the Middle East is somehow such a threat to our interests that we always have to intervene somehow.

IOW, brainwashing has pushed non-intervention off the table. It's now only a debate as to what degree of entanglement we'll engage in.

Bullshit. It's a well known fact that many in Islam desire a caliphate.

Get a grip will you?

Just because Beck says something you personally don't like doesn't make it a lie or untrue.

Then why for example did he oppose the so-called ground zero mosque, despite its building being a constitutional religious right in this country?

Who is the religious and political leader of this caliphate? Is he ordained as an Imam? No..he just a tyrant that wants things ran his way, even if it includes destroying other Muslims and Mosques that do not fit in his line of reasoning.. This ISIS war is about Sunni vs. Shia leadership, nothing new..

That explains why Obama has been ignoring it then.....It is probably just a fad that will harmlessly fade away. No worries.

There is a BIG difference between a real Caliphate and people who think they have a Caliphate....let us know when they set up a dynasty that actually lasts with a capital....and something called a Caliph.
