In a Republic, actually
‘Throughout his first term in office, Trump was regularly frustrated with the military’s refusal to obey his every demand, which included firing missiles into Mexico to target drug labs and to "just shoot" protestors marching against police brutality.

His 2024 nominations suggest an intent to fulfill his promise to fill the government with loyalists and self-styled disruptors who will follow-through with his plans to use the military for mass deportations to go after the “enemy from within." The president-elect also said he would fire military generals who are “too woke” and has vowed to ban transgender people from serving in the military, which would result in at least 15,000 active members being forced to leave, The New Republic reported.

“And of course, Phelan has not served in the Navy. Or any other branch of military service. But he is a big Trump donor,” Paul Rieckhoff, a veteran and founder of Iraq War Veterans of America wrote on X. “The least qualified and most overtly political cabinet in American history continues to expand.”’

As the article’s author correctly notes, the likes of Phelan and Hegseth are unqualified sycophants who “have the right amount of inexperience and loyalty Trump is looking for”; inexperience with contempt for sound, responsible governance, loyalty to Trump rather than to the Constitution and the American people.

Trump does not care about experience.
You don’t need experience to tear things down

You are full of shit on the ordering to shoot on protesters because they were against police brutality. He said to shoot protestors if they got too violent against the police or if they started destroying businesses or encroaching Federal buildings. Funny thing is, you people had no problem when the police fired upon a protestor on J6.

This is what happens when stupid people vote!

Pick one of Trump's appointees, just one, anyone, and defend their qualifications.
What, your taking points have not arrived from the DNC yet?

But OK, I'll play....Pam Bondi, Trump's AG pick.

The evil dems are skeered to death of her because she is qualified.

MSNBC contributor warns ‘we should all fear’ Trump’s new AG pick Pam Bondi ‘because she’s competent’

She served as Florida attorney general from 2011 to 2019 and was a prosecutor in Hillsborough County, FL before that.

Do you have eight years as the AG of one of America's most populus states under your belt to make a determination otherwise?

If not then bugger-off Mr. Clown Show.

This is common in the failing up movement of maga fuckups.

Sure, she took in $25,000 and dropped an investigation in to Heil Shitler! fraud in florida.

Just because she's less of a hack, doesn't mean she isn't a hack sycophant.

Well I see you got your talking points in the inbox early this morning. Can you get me on that list? I mean I have been amazed at just how consolidated Republican talking points are. I mean it starts first thing in the morning, and everyone knows them. Fox News, high school dropouts with their Youtube channel, troll posters that wouldn't know logic if it feel out of their ass and they have absolutely zero ability to use independent thinking.

Is she qualified, well on the resume side, sure, but barely. Stetson Law? Seriously, yes, sure bud well, I could get accepted there, easily. Honestly, it wouldn't even be on my fallback list, I am just too old to make that kind of investment. But let's run with her law school's motto, "For God and Truth", I mean I read it twice, I never did see where it said, "Show me the money".

And that might be acceptable, in private practice, as she has more than demonstrated over the past few years. But lawyers like her are what give lawyers a bad name. But just a cursory look into her career as AG of Florida is flippin comical. She was the lead attorney among 26 states that sued the federal government of the ACA, "Obamacare", if you will, claiming the individual mandate was unconstitutional. She FAILED, do you not get that, FAILED. She couldn't even convince John Roberts, that is pretty damn sad.

She tried again a few years later, claiming banning health insurance companies from charging more for pre-existing conditions was also a violation of the Constitution, got her ass handed to her again. Her claim to fame, prosecuting Dwight Gooden for parole violations, LMAO.

She was the lead attorney defending Trump against impeachment charges. Sure, he wasn't convicted, but not only is he the only president in American History to have members of his own party vote for conviction, he had that happen twice. Does his lead attorney not have any responsibility for that?

She is an election denier, has led chants of "lock her up" during Trump's first campaign, and as vocally said, she will go after Trump's enemies. I mean I don't know about you but what I expect from an AG is someone that is more than willing to get down and dirty and go after murderers, organized crime, sex traffickers, drug dealers, gun smugglers, and gang leaders. Does she have any history of doing that? Hell no.

See, I don't want to have an AG that has sworn her allegiance to a pretend king, I want one that has sworn her allegiance to the Constitution. "For God and Truth", third rate law school but I will give it up to her alma mater. With her, I just don't see it. She wants to go after prosecutors that sought to go after Trump. Prosecutors with big ass balls as far as I can tell. Prosecutors merely doing their damn job.

See, I want an AG that fights for me, not some self-absorbed billionaire that ain't got the sense to come in out of the rain. And maybe, most of all, I want an AG that has the integrity, and the self-respect to go, "Second choice, behind Gaetz, fuck off". If she is so qualified, then why was she second choice. Honestly, I think that reality tells you everything you need to know about Trump's appointments.

Great, isn't it? This time the swamp will be eliminated.
