Just got to work, looking for some way to infuse some excitement into the site. But first things are first...

Just got to work, looking for some way to infuse some excitement into the site.

With all the old codgers on here this morning that shouldn't be hard.
This reminds me of a story (uh oh, I'm gettin old).
We had a history teacher in High school that would go off on a rant at
abosolutely any history question that involved any war. So the whole class
had a daily plan to avoid work, we would just act stupid and ask him a
question that we knew he'd get excited about. Like "Mr. Baker, why did
WWII happen?". This set the wheels in motion for him to talk all hour of
class and no work....

If we use this same concept on all the old farts here,
this board would be active all day.

Our Russian teacher escaped from Poland when they were still part of the Soviet Union. We could do the same thing to her by asking her to tell us about the escape. It was a pretty good story too...

The funny thing was, I graduated from HS and joined the Navy as a Translator. They sent me to DLI to learn, of all languages, Russian. Well I found out that about half of what this lady taught us was just made up! She actually made up Russian-sounding words based on root words that were simply WRONG!

Funny thing is, he knew of this plan and he was a football coach,
so all of the players would choose his class and pass with flying
colors. Not cause they played football, because he couldn't shut up
