Nothing wrong with that.
I picked up a heater core from a yard for $25 and saved $125 once..I'm not above being cheap and saving $$$..
Or watching out to make a bit either...
I pulled one of those paint shaking/mixing machines out of a dumpster at a K-mart that was being re-modeled once.
It worked fine, I sold it to a guy that had a auto paint shop for $100.
