Where are you doing battle with him/her.
I have a friend from the Basque region of France and he can be a real pain in the ass a lot of the time . It is a problem to communicate with him , even after 3 years , he misinterprets a lot of what I say .It is amazing , the built in arrogance a lot of these guys have . On one hand we hear ad nauseum how superior they are both intellectually and culture wise yet they never pass up an opportunity to criticize the USA . If you truely are intellectually superior do you waste your valuable time criticizing lesser people? My friend is very intelligent but is lacking in common sense , makes it hard for him to function in normal society , he is better at philosophy and telling everyone how the world should be , facts of life don't matter.This is the same attitude as the clowns that continue to think that it is possible to negotiate with animals that cut off heads of innocent people to make a point .
They believe that our government is keeping us from getting the truth and that our news is censored . I have had many arguements about this but they seem quite brainwashed with their country's supposed importance.

Oh, he is up on the top of the board on several threads attempting to tell me that France is perfect and the US is stingy. It gets irritating. I keep telling him to go to some French site and post about the piddling 100,000 dollars they are giving to the effort rather than come here and give me grief. He keeps mentioning the EU like that makes the difference or something. Arrrrgh.

Why can't he see the difference here?! I don't go to French sites and bash them in bad French! All I keep telling him is to look to his own backyard before telling us how to live.

He keeps telling me to "shut up!" LOL. Like that ever stopped an American from speaking their mind!
