I just had to get this in.. Atheism is not a religion, IMO. It's a disbelief in God, Satan, Heaven, Hell, etc. *I* personally believe that you have only yourself to atone for your "sins" to, and when you die, you're stuck in a box, and become worm food...

Atheism in and of itself is not a religion, but for some it is. Those who meet under one roof to promote the ideas and progress the political agenda of Atheism are participants in a religion, regardless of the difference in belief of Higher Power.

I don't think every Atheist is religious, but there are some that are definitely religious about their belief in noGod.
