I never said I forgive you...how are you ahead?

It was the last message.... for a while. Not very funny but what do you expect when I was about to go to sleep while I was typing.

:coffee3:

Need coffee. The entire family is sick, I get no sleep when it is like this. Well maybe some at work.

Bleh. That sucks. Hope they feel better, and you get some sleep. :)

Hey, Chickadee.. How's the job?
Absolutly awesome!! I was scared to death Sat. afternoon, as usual, but by that night, I was running that place, LOL! I learned so much and have so much more confidence now. I work tonight and I'm more excited than nervous this time. WOOHOO, LOL!
And thanks for asking!! :D

The problem comes when it is commonplace, don't fall into the regular pattern of complaining about the customers in the back room, just smile and nod alot when your cohorts do it. It digs into your job satisfaction and makes it more difficult to respect them (the customers).

Remember they come in once in a while, you are there every day they simply won't have the kind of knowledge you have about the place.

OMG! I'm now embarassed to go eat out. I didn't relize how bad these waitresses complain about customers!!! Then they ***** when it's busy, they ***** when it's not, the only time they're not bitching is when the make a tip over $50 (for one table).
The other night, after only 4 hours of work, one waitress was complaining to me that she'd only made $50 in tips so far. I was thinking, 'Damn, that's over $10 an hour, why complain', but apparently that's unusual. Good for me, I hope, LOL!! :D

No kidding, it follows pretty much anywhere and was always amazing to me. The amazing thing is the attitude often permeates what they do on the floor, regardless of how nice they think they appear. They could get better tips if they thought better of the customers who are paying them to do a good job.

I totally agree with you!!!! I believe waitresses should get paid more, I believed this before I started doing it. The fact is, the tips is what they live on so I understand them getting upset when they don't make good. BUT, what they need to understand is, when you give shitty service, you get shitty tips. And if you get one bad table, don't take it out on the rest of your customers. Is this really that hard to understand? LOL! Good gracious, I hope I don't forget it.
