Zone1 The Israel of Revelation

only 144,000 are going to heaven. The rest( righteous) live on Earth forever.

There are those that actually believe that and will publicly repeat it whilst keeping a straight face .
I attended one of their churches for several months and found them generally very nice people .But 100% Cultists and almost without exception stuck in their little world view forever .

What they call Faith is the brain gear stick being stuck .

Jesus= Matt 5:5-Blessed are the meek( the great crowd no man can number) for they will inherit the EARTH.
Psalm 37:11,29--The righteous will live on Earth forever= the great crowd no man number( Rev 7:9) -----Who are not of that fold( John 10:16)= the little flock
The little flock( Luke 12:32) are numbered=144,000=bought from the Earth( Rev 14:3

Blind guides teach nothing on this matter because they know nothing on it.

I appreciate that the Essene Monk was trying to be a smart arse with this early PC remark .
Because the Meek simply get kicked up their back side.

And of course offering inheritance of the Earth as a reward was pure sarcasm .
It was the veiled threat of eternal punishment unless lovely scenery floated your boat forever.
Or, perhaps being tied to -- of all vile gifts --- other people . Including USMB types and Lefty Mutants .

Those are Jesus' words you are standing in opposition to. Do you know what the bible calls that?
There is no literal eternal suffering, blind guides teach it as literal. That explains your darkness, you listen to blind guides.

I have no problem talking about the Essene monk as one human to another .
That you choose to treat this man with supernatural powers is your Cultist choice and problem .
Not mine .
He may have had good intentions as he strolled around , not working and living off charity .
But he was far from perfect as his own words and actions amply demonstrate .

I admire your faith, Kj.

And Luiza gets under my skin often.

The Bible calls for you to understand that Luiza could be a person that feels betrayed by religion.

Your job isn't to judge. Just listen. Maybe learn from each other.

I am sure that any person with English as a first language will help you .
Am surprised that you have a laptop without a Search function .

Hope living upstate in NY isn't proving to be too difficult . We hear funny things happen there .
Can't always believe what you hear. Its no different from any other place on earth. they all equal a sodom and Gommorah= cities, suburbs, outskirts, country life.

Show me the verse, please.
The little flock( Luke 12:32) are numbered=144,000 bought from the Earth( Rev 14:3) these are the anointed bride=( Rev 1:6, Rev 20:6) = the promise to them.
The great crowd( Rev 7:9) no man can number= the other sheep( John 10:16) who are not of that fold.
Matt 5:5, Psalm 37:11,29)--Prov 2:21-22 assures they stay on Earth= forever is the promise to them( in a perfect state of being)-knowing only good, never sick, never without, not aging like now.))) as Jehovah purposed in the beginning.

Jesus was speaking directly to his disciples. "The little flock" refers to "his little flock of disciples" compared to the rest of the world.

Luke 12:

32 Treasure in Heaven.[f]

“
Fear not, little flock, for your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to those in need. Provide money bags for yourselves that do not wear out, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven that no thief can come near and no moth can destroy. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart also be.

This was one of the final paragraphs, of several passages, of Jesus explaining "his way" to his disciples. He was telling them that they now "know" his way - which is the way to "the kingdom". They are a "little flock" because only his disciples (at that time) knew and understood his teachings. They would be eventually instructed to "Spread the Good News to Gentiles and Jews alike - to all nations".

In order to understand Revelation 14:3 you must include Revelation 14:1

Revelation 14:1 - Revelation 14:3

Chapter 14

The Song of the Martyrs.[a]

1 Next in my vision, I saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him were one hundred and forty-four thousand[b] people who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. 2 I heard a sound from heaven like that of a mighty torrent or a loud peal of thunder. It was like the sound of harpists playing their harps.

3 They were singing a new song[c] before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn this song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth. 4 These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women.[d] They are virgins, and they follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been redeemed as the firstfruits of mankind for God and for the Lamb. 5 No lie was found on their lips. They are irreproachable.
  1. Revelation 14:1 The great hopes of the Prophets (e.g., Isa 2:1-5) are here realized; the new chosen people, in a full and perfect number, gather at Zion, the mount of definitive encounter with God. The martyrs sing the new song of deliverance and victory (see Ex 15:1-18; Pss 33:1-3; 98:1). It expresses the virginal joy of those who have remained faithful to God, those who have not committed falsehood, adultery, and fornication—i.e., in the language of the Bible, those who have not succumbed to the worship of false gods. They have not followed the emperor but only Christ. They have been, as it were, espoused to Christ (see Rev 19:9; 21:2; 2 Cor 11:2).
  2. Revelation 14:1 One hundred and forty-four thousand: that is, twelve thousand from each tribe.
  3. Revelation 14:3 New song: see note on Rev 5:9.
  4. Revelation 14:4 The ones who have not defiled themselves with women: this probably refers to those who avoided defiling relationships with the pagan world. Follow the Lamb: as disciples (see Mt 19:21; Mk 8:34). Firstfruits: a word used to refer to the first converts in a region (see Rom 16:5) and the first to rise from the dead (see 1 Cor 15:20).

The 144,000 were the "first converts" to Christianity. They were previously Jews (had his fathers name) and converted to Christianity (and his name) on their foreheads.

"They were singing a new song before the throne... The 'new song' is the Gospel of Jesus and the throne represents:

The New Age - God - The Father and the Son on his right hand - powered by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Trinity.

and the four living creatures (The 4 major Prophets -Daniel, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Isaiah) Books of the Prophets

and the elders (The Pillars of Judaism - Adam and Eve, their descendants - - all the way down to Noah - Moses - Abraham and David)

Genesis - Books of the Law

"No one could learn this song other than the 144,000 that were redeemed from the Earth - - Only the original converts that fully understood the Law, The Books of the Prophets and followed Jesus - took his cross and sacrificed themselves, could LEARN the song (Fulfill the law and the Prophets) They were "redeemed from the Earth (The Old Testament) when they were baptized into Christ (redeemed).

"They did not 'defile themselves with women - they did not give in to roman paganism (Spiritual Virgins to God) in order to save themselves - but instead martyred themselves as "first fruits to God and the Lamb" - They gave everything they had, including their lives, for God (The Father) and Christ. (The Lamb).

"I did not come to abolish the law or the Prophets but to fulfill them".

I showed what the little flock is. Yes some of the NT is written only to the little flock. Many back in Jesus day are apart of the little flock.
Its easy to see if ones religion listens to Jesus- At Luke 22= the Lords evening meal. Jesus says- for the ones who are allowed to partake= Luke 22:29-30-- A covenant made to those who will sit on thrones)))= the little flock only, not the great crowd. Blind guides tell all to partake. Paul warned its a major sin for others to partake if not ones who will sit on thrones=144,000-1Cor 11:27-28-- that is true light.

Glad to see you know defiling oneself with women didn't actually mean women but any false religion is included=Babylon the great= the harlot.

The Magi were believers of the God of Abraham and the Messiah. They weren’t Jewish yet believed. Most likely they were from the area around Babylon where the Jews were exiled. The wise men there witnessed the things Daniel did. They likely converted and taught their children about the one true God and were waiting for the Messiah as they would had been familiar with the Septuagint.
I don't doubt that many who heard of Jesus and also witnessed the miracles that he performed were believers. But to be numbered among the house of Israel, one needs to be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Those who were not of the House of Israel, even though they were believers, were not numbered among the house of Israel until the gospel was sent to the Gentiles. This is why Jesus has the following conversation with the Canaanite woman:

Matthew 15:21-28
21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Here, a woman of Canaan came to Jesus seeking that he would bless her daughter who was vexed with a devil. Jesus did have compassion on the woman and healed her daughter. However, he did not baptize the woman and taught her that He was only sent to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. So there were those who trusted in Jesus and saw his miracles and believed who were not of the House of Israel. But Jesus, during his ministry on the earth, was only sent to those who were of the House of Israel or those who were born as Israelites. Later the gospel was to go unto the Gentiles and they could then be baptized and be numbered among the house of Israel:

Acts 10

An angel ministers to Cornelius—Peter, in a vision, is commanded to take the gospel to the Gentiles—The gospel is taught by witnesses—The Holy Ghost falls upon the Gentiles.

1 There was a certain man in Cæsarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
7 And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;
8 And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.
9 ¶ On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate,
18 And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.
19 ¶ While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.
21 Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?
22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
23 Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
24 And the morrow after they entered into Cæsarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
27 And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
29 Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?
30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.
33 Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
34 ¶ Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judæa, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 ¶ While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Am I the only one in the world who understands that the "woman of Canaan" was actually an Israelite, as was the "woman at the well"?
