nope---it's actually in the koran or its a hadith (I have trouble separating hadith from koran because my copies put them on the same page)----the story is that allah was so annoyed at a bunch of jews that he turned them into apes---for muslims the story RINGS TRUE----it's not just a fable. The koran is full of fables that muslims take as concrete reality. Solomon did fables which jews see as fables----versions show up in the koran as "HISTORY"----something like muhummad "miracles"
