The Houthis just blew up the Greek-flagged oil tanker Sounion in the Red Sea, spilling 150,000 barrels of oil—4 times worse than the Exxon Valdez

Where have you lived in the Middle East?
From Morocco through the whole of the Maghreb and beyond to the Far East.

So you lived in Saudi Arabia and Yemen?
Sorry, but your questions are becoming gradually irritating. If you want a list f every country, nation, city, town, village, border crossing (and in what capacity I served) then you’ll have to wait until I publish my autobiography.

Did you like Libya? You mentioned the magreb. So you were in the military?

Aug 26 (Reuters) - The Greek-flagged crude oil tanker Sounion has been on fire in the Red Sea since Aug. 23 after an attack by Yemen's Houthis with no obvious signs of an oil spill, the EU Red Sea naval mission Aspides said in a post on X on Monday.

Yes and no. It was a prosperous country and many from the Middle East and West Africa were gainfully employed but the fly ban was imposed by the West making things uncomfortatlbe.

Yes, King Idris set up many programs and the Libyan constitution was enlightened.

Nobody seemed worried about oil spills back during WW2 when German Subs sank about 150 oil tankers in the Gulf of Mexico. Every ship was powered by diesel oil and tens of thousands were sunk in the Atlantic and Pacific. Somehow the Oceans seemed to have recovered better than the mental stability of hysterical greenies.

Here's the difference between us:

I listen to leftists to see what they believe.

You listen to leftists to see what conservatives believe.

Y'all sure do like your echo chambers and confirmation bias.
I won't make assumptions dave.

I listen to conservative voices to find out what the most ignorant position on an issue. Like when Fat Elvis makes the claim that tariffs are paid by the countries they're imposed on (they're not) followed RW commentators who try to make that false statement true.

Or when RW commentators push the crime is at record levels myth everywhere because they can find one small area where property theft increased in rural arkansas.

Where were the tankers from?

Between 1942 and 1943, German U-boats sank 56 vessels, including 28 oil tankers.

How do you know what crime levels are at? Most Democrat-run big cities aren't reporting their crime stats to the FBI, skewing the results and allowing Democrats to say crime is down. Idiots believe it.

Didn't you?
