The Hon Donald J Trump - our 45th President - Salute

Can't wait to give Trump a very similar salute.

TPP is dead and the leaders of Mexico and Canada are willing to work on NAFTA...not to mention the stock market having a huge rally this week.......good job President Trump

The liberal butt hurt rages on. Just wait in four years when he runs away with the election! Lol!

Dream on, cause out here in the real world, Trump REALLY will have to deal with, blowing smoke up people's ass is not going to cut it.

He over promised, will severely under-deliver (esp. considering we are probably overdue for a recession and uptick in deficits) lighting on fire his vast oposition and disappointing those that elected this blowhard.

Trump is not going to solve "inner-city" issues, not going to bring back long gone shoe factories and blockbuster stores to small towns with few prospects and declining population, not going do much helpful on heathcare, will do nothing but grow income inequality...but hey chances are looking good for us that already doing well to get yet another round of budget busting tax cuts.

Reality will be tough for Donald and America will be just another casino he'll be driving into the ground while growing his personal wealth.

Obama over promised, lots of promises he couldn't keep either. Candidates do it all the time. It is how well he is perceived to be doing, that will be the key.

Clinton was going to make big money after the election, yet it didn't pan out for her. Liberals never cared what she was going to make off Wall St. once she was elected. More hypocrisy.

You are big on false equivalency.

Obama's promises were quite tame and realistic compared to what Trump has been selling.

Thankfully there is someone doing the good work of keeping track of all this. Here is a list of Obama's promises and their status:

He kept 45% of his promises in full, compromised to partially fill 26% and broken the promise on 22%

The Obameter Pledge-o-Meter

We'll see how everything-is-negotable Trump's promises will pan out but he will be off to an awful start on his first day, no doubt about that:

What to expect from Donald Trump's first 100 days

Every candidate makes stupid promises, I didn't believe Obama's BS of transparency yet the liberals bit. I don't believe we will see a fence from Trump, yet conservatives bit. The bottom line is with this President like all past Presidents, we will survive.

Maybe the Democrats and Republicans work on their respective party's and get better candidates.

I find it funny how much crying the left is doing, and then using it as an excuse for violence. Then going after Trump who hasn't step into the office yet. Would Hillary been a better President, I have no clue both are abysmal? The two parties failed us.

Both making bad promises doesn't mean they make EQUALLY bad promises in quantity and quality. There in is the false equivalency.

Trump is not the first to lie or make hyperbolic statements or false promises...he just does it A LOT MORE, carving out a special category for himself.

Dumb shit, we are talking about stupid promises that won't be fulfilled. You want a false equivalency and it simply doesn't exist.
