The homily, at the Pope's funeral, alluded to Donald Trump

Trump was asked why he went to the funeral, and most of his answer was about how he won the Catholic vote, and how that's the first time that's happened. He's talking politics and Trump at the funeral of a Pope. Okay.

He's unwell, he's unfit, he's a child, and he's humiliating America to the world. Again.

That is normal,. of the 135 Cardinals Pope Francis appointed 108.
However, ArchBishops like Vigano may slow the gears.
The next pope will face a Church shaped by Francis's appointments and reforms. His tenure saw major structural changes, including the decentralization of the Vatican's power and the appointment of more non-European cardinals than any of his predecessors.
Nonetheless, his governance style has also left the College of Cardinals in an uncertain position. "He selected the majority of the cardinals who possess the right to vote," said Ulrich Lehner, professor of theology at the University of Notre Dame.
"However, his approach to governance, characterized by unilateral decisions made without consultation with the College of Cardinals, has made it impossible to form interpersonal relationships among them."

Vigano has no power, Francis excommunicated him as well. He would not vote anyway, as he is an Archbishop, and not a Cardinal under the age of 80.

There are a lot of things to admire about the Catholic religion including their stance against abortion while some protestant religious sects were caving into pressure from democrats and the unborn child killing industry. The Pope never used the phrase "bridges instead of walls" in a political sense. It's an invention by the more liberal College of Cardinals, most of whom never had a job in the real world.

You really believe the wall around the vatican is the same as the wall Trump is building.
If so you are a bigger idiot than I thought
Yeah. Great point, you gibbering retard.

If a wall is different from another wall, then they can’t serve the same purpose.

Stop straining so hard to prove you’re brainless. It’s already established beyond any doubt.

Just sayin'.

If walls were bad, the Vatican wouldn't have them.
The wall has been there for 1200 years and in present time is not meant to keep anyone out, you can walk in without ID. n 846 AD Pope Leo IV commissioned a 39-foot wall around St. Peter's and other areas where the clergy lived as a protective measure.

Pope Leo IV built the first wall around the Vatican City in the 9th century as a reaction to the threat posed by Saracen pirates. The fortifications were strengthened in the 16th century – this time to protect the city-state’s growing wealth from the city of Rome, but also as an expression of papal power!

Most of the walls that you see today (3.2 km in total) date from the 1800s. Fortunately pirates are no longer a problem, and tourists can freely enter the Vatican city without questions or passport checks (although you do need to go past the metal detectors).

So anyone from anywhere can come and go from the Vatican unchecked and unregulated?

Why don't they let foreign nationals come and go unchecked and unregulated like democrats in America?
They do. You can walk right through but there is a metal dedector.

Yep, it would be nice if you can read the article but I know you would much rather whine and ***** about it.

Sounds like they check you at the door unlike what Democrats do in America.

The vatican physical walls are not a problem. The walls put up by the Catholic church are not physical walls. Pope Francis broke down many of those walls.
I doubt you can understand.

Some of the most damaging walls are not physical walls.
Way too complex for A MAGA lemming to understand.

Pope Francis was a liberal, maybe too liberal, even for the Vatican.
There is a lot of chatter that the next Pope will be straightening
out what the previous Pope had done to the religion.
.

We are sure praying that the Holy Spirit sits on all the Cardinals and guides them towards a pope who will do just that.

Good! That is what we want, a secure border, same as the Pope has.
Can you name anyone who wanted to into the Vatican who could not get in.
The reality is that many people are getting through the physical wall at the border.
Trump cracking down, through ICE, on illegals in the USA appears to be the most effective tool. Not necessarily constitutional, not necesarily humane, but it is working and it is not a wall.

Look at the gay emblem Jorge Bergoglio's Lavender Mafia chose for the Jubilee 2025. Says a damn lot!

That would seem like a no brainer, but, who knows these days.
Crap and moonie don't seem to think so.
Abortion never stopped being a vile and disgusting sin. Don't believe everything you read in the lib media!!! Being repentant (truly repentant) for sin is always part of catholic belief, but it remains a vile sin!!
